BWC has created this system of defining beginner to advanced magick to assist you in charting your witchcraft or occult journey. We suggest that you build on your skill level before you attempt the advanced magic practices and rituals. A common mistake a newcomer would make, for example, would be to try and evoke a Demon or spirit, without having Knowledge of basic rituals, such as protection work, and without being able to strengthen their 6th sense so to connect to the spirit for messages.

You should chart your own journey, knowing that becoming a master in the dark arts will take over 10+ years of dedication. Of course, depending on your gifts and your prior experience in life, you could be ready to jump into the magical world at any end of the spectrum. Perhaps you were a “Grand Master Warlock” in your past life and are ready to continue on your warlock journey in this life! It’s possible.

If you build on your knowledge or layer your knowledge, you will find yourself having much success in magick, and in the dark arts. You will only find frustration if you do not dedicate time and energy to learning the basics.

The levels that you see here are based on how difficult it would be to master that specific level. It is not based upon how successful you would be if you practised a certain type of magick, e.g. Summoning a demon to assist you with a monetary goal (demonic evocation is advanced magic) versus lighting a candle dressed with the corresponding oils and herbs for money attraction (Candle Magic is introductory magick). In reality, you could easily perform both of these rituals right now, but which one of these rituals could you master quickly?

You can have success on any level, and achieve your goals, but you must have clear a goal of the desired outcome and the ability to focus on that goal while you’re connecting to a source of “energy”. Easy!

Lastly, your belief in the spiritual world and the energy that surrounds us is detrimental to your success in magic. If you do not have BELIEF, then you cannot have a strong WILL. In Black Magic, your WILL is everything.

To Know, To Dare, To Will, To Keep Silent

This phrase may not be new to you, but it’s important to remember what it means as you embark on your magical journey. If you become stuck anywhere along your journey, or you become distracted in the sea of spirituality and spiritual practitioners, refer back to this for guidance:

To Know refers to the idea that the spiritual journey is one of knowledge — and that knowledge is never-ending. If we are indeed “to know,” then we must constantly be learning, questioning, and expanding our horizons. Also, we must know ourselves before we can know our true paths.

To Dare can be interpreted as to have the courage we need to grow. By daring ourselves to step out of our comfort zone, to be something that people see as “other,” we are in fact fulfilling our own need “to dare.” We are facing that which is unknown, moving into a realm that is far outside what we’re used to.

To Will means to have determination and perseverance. Nothing of any value comes with ease, and spiritual growth is no exception. Want to be a competent practitioner of magic? Then you better study, and work at it. If you make the choice to evolve and grow spiritually, then you will be able to do so — but it is, in fact, a choice we make. Our will guides us, and will lead us to success. Without it, we are stagnant.

To Keep Silent seems like it should be an obvious one, but it’s a bit more complex than it appears on the surface. To be certain, “keeping silent” means that we need to make sure we never out other members of the Pagan community without their permission, and to some extent, it means we need to keep our practices private. However, it also means that we need to learn the value of inner silence. It is a rare person indeed who recognizes that sometimes the unspoken is more important than the words we utter.

About the magic on Black Witch Coven

These suggestions are based on the teaching of witchcraft and occultism to Black Witch Coven members. In fact, this website was once a way for BWC to communicate to each other when we were living in various parts of the world and not able to share a common journal or a common book of shadows. People would just throw in various ideas and concepts with no real organisation. As BWC became more popular, we had to review the information which was stored, and remove a lot of information that would be considered controversial or even illegal.

Black Magick will be seen as an equal to the other styles of magic in coming years. As other magical traditions introduce spells and rituals that would have once been considered unethical or evil (such as anything to manipulate somebody’s free will), Black magic somehow seems more palatable to the average person. However make no mistake that true black magic is not easy to practice, and would be totally unacceptable even to the majority of those who call themselves occultists or black magicians.

So it is with this consideration that our website has become more palatable to those interested in a magical alternative to “white” or “grey” magic – and many of the spells and rituals open to public review, are those that the majority of people could practice comfortably. The spells and rituals that we perform (BWC Occultists) are not available for public review, as they would cause controversy and potentially have us banned or pulled down by hosting and social media companies.

It’s also important to add, that we do not consider BWC as any type of authority on witchcraft or occultism. Many of our methods and our beliefs do not align with other occult or witchcraft groups. In fact, our beliefs are probably more in conflict with the other belief systems even within the dark arts community. This could be due to the fact that our members are a little older and at a different stage of spiritual and life development.

We are very much a community who values the ebb and flow of the human condition, and members should not be pigeonholed into thinking only one concept is correct or right. As such, our members come from a diverse range of spiritual practices and religions and are held together with respect to each other’s journeys. We believe the path to personal mastery comes from the ability to safely practise whatever you desire without the need to justify your belief system to other people.

What does it take to Master Black Magick?

The latest scientific research now proves that any person that is really great at something has practised every day for seven years on average. This includes singers, writers, dancers and yes Magicians too!

Most people do something once or twice and give up. A few people go on and do it for five years and then give up and one person will go on and do it daily for decades and will be really great at it! Most people then see that one person who is great in their field and say to them that they are lucky when in reality they never saw the daily practice that they did on average for seven years.

The research showed that they not only must do it daily but must also be persistent in success and try to improve their results constantly.

So you have the power to be great at anything you want. It all depends on what you are willing to do every day persistently for seven years. So if you want to be a great Magician then practice every day.

    hello
    I am a satanist (demolatry, specifically) and black witch and I am somewhere between intermediate and beginner level. I have successfully summoned and made pacts with Valac, Uphir, and Amon. Uphir is teaching me healing, Valac found stuff I lost, and Amon helped me and my brother get along better, though not fully fixed. I meditate for 5-30 minutes per day and I can perform intermediate spells but I practice the same stuff as a beginner. What more would an intermediate witch do to get better at magick?

    I recently lost my mother and I believe I have had several connections with her energy. The most recent …in a dream, I felt a spirit hug me 2x, while in the dream (the actual dream content had nothing to do with my mom)…I knew instantly it was my mom. I felt it – and it wasn’t like a normal hug. After those 2 hugs …I felt something wrap around me (i had the impression it was gray and dark) and it began to squeeze really hard and I pushed it away spiritually and then forced myself awake.

      meditate daily. get in nature as much as you possibly can. eat lunch outside. breakfast and dinner also (preferably) outside. take walks. ground and center. keep a dream journal and a grimoire.

    I am looking to get into the dark arts and follow the left hand path. I was raised a Christian but I never really felt a connection to it. I continuously tried to follow it until about a year and a half ago when I just gave up. I recently purchased a Satanic bible and I felt an immediate connection to it. I am looking for how to start my path in the dark arts. I have some experience with meditation and energy as I can meditate fairly easily. I have also created an energy ball when I was about 12 and I can create one whenever I try to. I have also been baptized as a Christian, will this affect how well I am able to follow the left hand path?

    I am a 15 year old male. My mom was a Wiccan and my dad is a Shamman. My mom died before she could teach me how to control my power. But she always told me that my namesake is watching over me. My dad doesn’t think that I will be able to control my power and that I need to go to someone who knows what they are doing. I have gone to several Wiccan sights, and all of them say that I am out of their league. I have always had a deep connection with nature and animals. I can make animals do small things like quiet down or stop moving. I can do this with people too just on a much smaller scale, and I have to be thouching people for it to work. I can force my energy out of my hands and create sparks as far away as 2 and a half feet. I can push my energy into objectives and make them shake violently and sometimes break. Plants will move out of my way if I am about to be caused harm by them, and things that should have hit me just seem to warp around me. I don’t know how to control this power, but I think that in time I will. But the main thing I need help with is the astral projection, it happens every night and it is making it hard to sleep, so you know any way to stop projecting myself to other places? I’m getting real tired of watching people being killed.

    Hello, I don’t want to make this a long comment (excuse me if I will) so I’ll get to the point, I have a pitiful weak life, I am an atheist, I do not believe in the existence of some “almighty saint all-loving god”, and I have tried to live life by its simplest rules, and yet I’m not happy, I have so many weaknesses that i can’t bear, so I decided that if there is magic, then I might as well commit myself to it even if its the last thing i do, and it probably is, I want to learn magic, black, white, demonic, I do not care, so I went to this website, and forgive my rudeness, it doesn’t teach shit, all it does is tell me how to meditate which believe me I already know how to do, this website doesn’t teach specified spells, if there’s a book that teaches any type of magic from top to bottom and how to let one achieve something they desire no matter which sacrifice they have to commit, then please with all of my problematic half dead stressed heart, please tell me the name of that book and where i can get it.

      I’m sceptical that you have the patience or perseverence to PRACTICE magic. See what I did there? Practice. That’s what it’s all about. You won’t find the answers in 1 book, you won’t find them in 50 books. This is a lifetime journey down a crooked path that leads you all over the place, experimenting, adjusting and incorperating knowledge you’ve aquired to connect with spirit and manifest your desires.
      Your comment about having everything top to bottom in 1 book, had us rolling on the floor laughing. As in one breath you say you’ll sacrifice anything while you won’t sacrifice the time and effort to read more than 1 book.
      For you to able to do any magic at all, you’ll need to adjust your attitude and expectations. This is a lifetime commitment and the only express lane is knowledge and practice.

          i bet you can sacrifice time. When you eat a meal you can eat it outside, while reading a book on magic while you are at it. I can. There is a major benefit to it, better job, more money, dream house, dream car, you can be yourself, and you will never be bored, because if you think you know everything, then that is a lie because there is always SOMETHING to learn.

      All of u have no clue what ur getting into I know because I’m a master in certain areas in the dark arts and crafts like one of my areas is to see into the past or into the future for my own benefit and that took me 2 years since I was 11 and now I’m 13 I’m also capable of devouring a ghosts power and locking it inside of me to increase my power and it’s effectiveness and I have devoured 9 of them and I know when someone I know is going to die because I caused it due to spiritual energy toward them as hate for the wrong they have done me if you believe in the seven deadly sins the sin that calls out to me is the sin of wrath and the sin of greed and envy so yeah I’m a 13 year old boy and I can already do so much by hard work and dedication and by my passed down ability to devour evil souls of neither world or assiah it so happens to be named I have also been able to kill 11 hell hounds with a regular old iron knife to the head so to me you ain’t worth my time

    How shall one master these arts? I desire to become knowledgeable of and to pursue these practices. I wish to practice both black arts and white arts as they call them categorizing me as a Satanist I believe. I do not plan to use these gifts for greed nor selfishness.       honestly, even if you are a medium-level or highly experienced witch, then keep doing the beginner things as well as stuff that is on your level. the basics are the core of everything. check the beginner black magick category. I am sort of beginner, kind of intermediate. I have summoned Valac, Uphir (who is teaching me healing), and Amon.

      Greetings,

      What a great question, as it is fair to believe Satan is required in all demonic summoning rituals. While I can only answer on behalf of myself and my own students, Satan is rarely spoken about or too! Demonic forces are summoned depending on the ritual for which they are required. For example, if you desire to work with Belial, then you would set up your altar/workspace to summon just Belial. Other occultists will call on the demonic “gatekeepers” to each of the quarters, similar to what is down in a Wiccan Calling the Quarters. Some people will call to Satan as the 5th Element being Spirit, if using the example given.

      I hope this gives you enough information for further exploration.

          Guess this is more my area of expertise to answer than those who work with the BWC. Hardly. A little magic won’t send anyone to hell in and of itself (Jesus hung out with murderers and thieves, so..). You create your own “difficulty level” of hell, as what you believe is a sin, deep down, it is a sin. Now. If you willfully worship Satan and his angels and hate the light, then chances are your afterlife will be less enjoyable than most. If you’re a Christian, there is no sin that would cast you to perdition. If you don’t believe in God then do as you please as it won’t matter one bit.

      you do not have to harm others. black magic is magick that can be used for personal gain and/or for others gain. while you are meditating, try to sense Satan/Lucifer’s energy. Try different divination methods with him, though I do not recommend the Ouija Board for beginners. Ask him to show up in your dreams. The ‘Start Here’ tab is where to start.

      It is always hard to give standard answers online, as I have no clue as to what you already practice, what spirits you connect with, and how strong your dedication to taking actions towards your goals, and how long you have been on your path. Other considerations are that I would need to know your comfort level in the traditions as discussed at Black Witch Coven, as we lend ourselves heavily towards the left hand path and dark arts. This may not be right for you. However, some people have instant success when asking for help from the “otherside” and other people feel somewhat ignored.

      So, not knowing all of the above, I suggest you start out in Chaos Magick – as it is generally less about spiritual connection, and more about.

      No one truly has the 100% guarantee on what works, as each unique and individual soul is on his/her own journey in this lifetime.

I know I have a connection to Lord Lucifer almost as if he is my father and has been waiting on me to make a pact with him. Does this sound crazy as hell or could it be.
