Banishing Oil

This is the oil we reach for when someone needs to go, when a house will not settle, or when leftover work,  yours or someone else’s, is still sitting on you.

It is a BWC condition oil built for removal. Saturn for cutting and ending, Mars for force and follow-through, Water for washing the current off you and out of the room. Use it to send a person out of your life, to drive off unwanted visitors and neighbors, to strip hexes, jinxes, and crossed conditions, and to break habits and situations that keep rebuilding themselves.

This is not a jinxing oil. It does not dress someone to suffer. It pushes what does not belong out of your space and, when the work calls for it, sends their own mess back to them. If you want revenge, damnation, or hot-foot cruelty, that is a different bottle.

The scent is magical, not cosmetic. It is not blended to smell like a perfume. Some batches are sharp, resinous, or peppery. That is the point.

What it is for

• People who will not leave — exes, stalkers, meddling relatives, a coworker who lives in your head

How to use it

Black candle. Carve the name or the thing you want gone, wick to base. Dress the candle with Banishing Oil, pushing the oil down and away from you. Burn on the waning moon. Write the petition, mark it with a cross of oil, and set it under the candle. When the candle is done, take the remains and the petition to a crossroads and leave them. Do not look back.

Doors and thresholds. Anoint the top and both sides of the door, working outward. Do the same on the back door and any window that feels like an entry. Reapply after cleaning or after someone you wanted gone has been in the house.

Floor wash. A few drops in a bucket of water, back of the house toward the front door, and throw the dirty water off the property  street, crossroads, or running water, not down your own drain if you can help it.

Petition. Name on paper. Oil in a cross. Fold away from you. Burn or bury off the property.

Body and bath. A dab at the back of the neck or the soles of the feet when you have to walk into a room that person is in. A few drops in the bath when you are washing off a habit or a crossed feeling. Patch-test first. This is a working oil, not a lotion.

Desk and tools. A thin smear on the underside of the desk, the door of the office, or the cloth under the deck. Reapply when the room starts to feel crowded again.

Timing. Waning moon for people and conditions. Dark moon when you want the cut clean. You can still dress a door at noon on a Tuesday if the situation will not wait.

How to charge it (if you charge your oils)

• Hold it at the brow and put the job into it  the person, the house, the habit.
• Waning moonlight is enough.
• A short time in earth or on the altar overnight is enough.
• Do not bake it in full sun; a little sunlight goes a long way and will thin the blend.

What this oil is not

It will not replace the physical act of ending something. If someone needs to leave, the oil pushes; you still close the door, block the number, and stop making a bed for them. It is not an exorcism service.
