Frankincense Oil

This is the oil we reach for when the room needs to become a temple.

Not a jinx bottle. Not a healing formula. Frankincense is the old resin of consecration — the smell that tells a space, a tool, a seal, or a spirit that work is starting. BWC Frankincense Oil is the resin in a carrier, consecrated for altar use: dressing candles, anointing sigils, feeding incense work, wiping down tools, and offering to spirits who take frankincense as their due.

Key resin: frankincense (Boswellia). That is the whole point of the bottle. Sun. Elevation. A clean heat that clarifies and makes low-grade interference uncomfortable in the room. You can mix it into other oils. You can wear a thin smear at the brow before contact work. You can dress a white, gold, or black candle with nothing else and still have a complete rite.

The scent is temple, not perfume. Resinous, bright, a little bitter on the back end. Some batches run sharper. That is the point.

How it is different from the other bottles

Frankincense lifts. Myrrh grounds. Together they are the classic temple pair. Alone, this bottle is the one you reach for first.

How to use it

Altar and tools.
A thin film on the altar stone, the blade, the cup, the seal. Wipe outward from the center. Reapply when the room starts to feel ordinary again.

Candles.
White or gold for consecration and solar work. Black when you are dressing a protection or banishing candle and want the temple heat in it. For drawing work, dress base to wick. For banishing, wick to base. A thin film. A slick candle is a fire hazard with no extra power in it.

Brow and pulse.
A dab at the brow before spirit contact, scrying, or any rite where you need the head clear. Patch-test first. This is resin in oil, not a lotion.

Seals and petitions.
A cross of oil on the sigil or the name. Let it dry. Burn or keep as the working requires.

Bath and wash.
A few drops in salt first, then into the water or the mop bucket, when you want the house consecrated after a cleansing — not instead of Jinx Removing, after it. The 16 oz exists for this.

Mixing.
A drop into another BWC oil when that working needs elevation. Do not drown the other formula. One drop is a note. Five drops is a different bottle.

Offerings.
Dress the coal, the candle, or the offering dish. Frankincense is what many spirits already expect. Give it cleanly.

Timing.
Sunday and the waxing sun if you are working light, kingship, or consecration. You can still dress an altar at midnight. Frankincense does not wait on a calendar.

How to charge it

Hold it at the brow. Put the job into it — “this altar,” “this seal,” “this contact.” Morning sun is enough. A night on the altar is enough. Do not bake it; heat thins the blend.

What this oil is not

It is not a full uncrossing. If something is sitting on you, use Jinx Removing, then frankincense to consecrate what is left. It is not Healing Oil. It will support a healing candle; it will not do the rosemary’s job. It is not an exorcism service.

Patch-test. External use only. Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, children, and pets. Do not ingest. Resin oils can feel hot on broken skin — if it burns, dilute or keep it on tools and candles.
