We’ve been working with both tinctures and oils for years, and we’re now bringing fresh batches of both into the store. Before we share more about them in the coming months, we wanted to give you a clear sense of how they differ energetically and magically.

An oil carries a slower, more embodied current. It sits on the skin, on candles, and on tools. It works through contact and lingering presence. Oils are excellent when you want the energy to stay close to the body or the working, building steadily over time.

A tincture moves differently. Because it is alcohol-based, it feels sharper, faster, and more spirit-oriented. It cuts through and travels quickly. Tinctures are often used when you want a cleaner, more immediate shift or when you are feeding a spirit, dressing a petition, or working in a way that needs speed and penetration.

Neither is better. They simply move in different ways. Oils tend to ground and coat. Tinctures tend to cut and carry.

Lucifer Oil – General Version

This is our foundational Lucifer Oil, created for those who wish to work with Lucifer in a respectful, consistent, and devotional way. It is made using quality ingredients and traditional methods, offering a balanced and positive current that is suitable for everyday spiritual practice.

This version is ideal for regular offerings, building a relationship with Lucifer, general petition work, and devotional practices. While our Light-Bringer and Baneful versions are formulated for more specific and intense purposes, this General Version serves as a reliable and positive foundation for those who want to work with Lucifer in a more consistent, balanced, and accessible way.

Because Lucifer expresses himself in different ways depending on the nature of the work, we now offer two distinct versions of this oil so practitioners can choose the current that best aligns with their intention.

This alcohol-based tincture is significantly more potent than the previous oils and is intended for experienced practitioners who require stronger results in serious baneful or commanding work.
