What is a Sweetening Spell?

This is one of the oldest forms of spell, where a parchment with the name of the petitioner (that’s you) and the object of the spell (that’s the target) are written in a certain way and immersed in a jar of honey, along with several magical herbs and powders.

We then burn a white candle on the lid of the jar and chant over it, among other things.
