Belial reconciles friends and enemies and provides familiars He can assist one with job promotions and helps to gain a higher position. He can bring favors from others, even one’s enemies.
You may use it however you desire, however, if you would like our suggestion feel free to follow this small praise Ritual below (please note that we will give different rituals and ideas for praise and use with each of these kits. You are welcome to follow any Ritual you like:
- In this kit, we provide you with a sheet of Belials Sigils on parchment. Cut out 1 for each ritual. You may wish to trace over the sigil with the oil.
- Otherwise, you could etch the sigil into the candle with a pin. As you are doing so you could say something like, “I dedicate this candle to Belial for use in this right of honour”
- lancelet – you may put a drop of your own blood in the bottle of oil, plus you may trace over the sigil on the candle with your blood and or with the oil
- Facing North…… It is best that you face north when giving the offering or praise to Belial
- You can wear some of the oil on your body. It is not toxic
- light some incense and the candle
- Recite the ENN multiple times: Lirach Tasa Vefa Wehlc Belial
- You can now say a prayer such as:
- “Lord Belial, hear me. Blessed in your name, I pray please keep me safe. Henceforth I vow my everlasting devotion and love. So be it.” (1)
- You may then state whatever your needs are, and meditate your focus and desires to him while the candle burns.
- You may wish to burn the sigil when you have finished your praise ritual. Simply light it in the flame of the candle and leave it to burn on the offering plate. You then scatter the ashes or bury them outside.
Optional – He must be presented with offerings, sacrifices, and gifts, or else “he will not give true answers to demands…” – so leave some type of offering on the offering plate before you leave!

Most Recommended Incenses
- Frankincense — The most classic and frequently cited correspondence for Belial in Goetia-based works (e.g., associated with his solar/gold planetary links, yellow color, and high-status vibe). It’s purifying, uplifting, and regal—ideal for invocations seeking favor, influence, or true answers (as the grimoires note he requires proper offerings). Burn it on charcoal for a strong, resinous smoke.
- Patchouli — A top modern demonolatry favorite, often blended with others. It grounds energy, evokes earthiness (Belial’s ties to independence and the material world), and aligns with his defiant, no-master nature. Practitioners report it creates a potent atmosphere for workings.
- Mullein — Frequently paired with patchouli in ritual setups (e.g., in S. Connolly’s Modern Demonolatry rites). Mullein supports protection, clarity, and bridging realms—fitting for Belial’s role in granting familiars, senatorships, or worldly success.
- Dragon’s Blood — Popular in contemporary demonolatry for its protective, potent, blood-like intensity. It adds fiery empowerment and is suggested for when you want to amplify strength or deal with “lawless” aspects.
- Other Strong Options:
- Myrrh (or blends with it) — For depth, mystery, and ancestral/earthly ties; some practitioners use it for solemnity.
- Benzoin, Copal — Sweet, resinous alternatives for cleansing and inviting presence.
- Sandalwood or Cedar — Occasionally mentioned for grounding and solar alignment.
Tips for Offering Incense to Belial
- Approach: Belial is often described as demanding respect—offerings (including incense) are key for clear communication (per grimoires: he won’t give true answers without gifts/sacrifices). Burn incense during invocation, perhaps on charcoal in a heat-safe dish near his sigil.
- Blends: A common combo is patchouli + mullein (for atmosphere in rites) or frankincense alone for purity. Light it while chanting his enn: “Lirach tasa vefa wehlc Belial” (or variations like “welhc”).
- Personalization: Start with frankincense if you’re new/traditional; experiment with patchouli or dragon’s blood if your practice is more modern/demonolatry-focused. Offer with intention—e.g., for favor in dealings, independence, or protection.
