Ideas for use: A Simple Hexing with a Poppet

1. Optional – I like to use a DUME or black glass encased candle with this work. The candle burns for 4 to 7 days, and you would return to the candle each day and repeat the curse on the doll
2. Create a voodoo doll in the image of  your desired lover.
3. Once you’ve “baptized” the doll over incense, fire, water, and earth , give the doll the name of your target, and say the dolls intention. Example, “By the powers of earth, fire, water, and air, I name this doll in the image of (targets name), and  (target name) will now be connected to this poppet. What I do to the doll will be done to (target’s name) until the time I release (targets name) from the doll.”
4. Now you must see the poppet AS the target. Build up your energy by thinking about all the crap the target has done to you. Then state your curse IN YOUR OWN WORDS – with anger!
5. Once you have finished cursing, stabbing the doll, you could throw it in a box (like  shoe box), optional would be to throw some grave dirt on top, and say “Head to the grave now”. Shut the box. And return to it each day (or until the candle extinguishes if you used this method.)
6. Whenever you have finished with the doll you could
   • Bury it in a cemetry
   • Bury at the crossroads
   • Keep it on your dark arts altar
   • If you intend to release the curse one day (put the doll somewhere that don’t be found.)
