The High John The Conqueror Root is normally pictured as a round ball, but like most roots in conjure, there is a male and a female. We don’t talk about that a lot when it comes to john the conqueror roots, but I’m telling you this because when you go to buy one of these from a Botanica you will probably be offered the male root which looks like the root in my photo.
