The Demons must always be approached with extreme honesty and respect. The days of using enemy “God” names, angels, nine-foot circles, threats and other destructive and abusive methods are over.
Don’t say you weren’t warned….
This page gives three different working examples of how a person might summon a demon for a practical aim. To keep the comparison clear, each example uses the same goal: attracting greater prosperity or bringing more money into your life.
These are frameworks, not complete public curricula. They show how the tone and structure change across methods. Deeper training still requires study, preparation, and, when you choose it, proper instruction.
Before any method
Know which demon you are calling and why that spirit’s office fits the request. Have a definite purpose. Be prepared to offer something real in return, and only promise what you can deliver. Close the work cleanly when you are finished.
Method One: Respectful Relational Contact
This is the approach we favour at Black Witch Coven. Demons are met with honesty and respect. Relationship is the foundation, not threat or theatre.
You need
- A quiet place
- Pleasant incense
- A black, blue, or red candle (black is preferred unless you know the spirit’s colour)
- The demon’s sigil on clean paper
Process
- State your purpose clearly: prosperity, increased income, or a specific financial opening.
- Light the incense and candle. Place the sigil before you.
- Centre yourself. Visualise the sigil and repeat the demon’s name until your attention holds.
- Speak a direct, respectful request that the spirit be present and assist within its office.
- Make your offering and state the exchange cleanly.
- Remain open to contact. It may come as thought, atmosphere, energy, imagery, or later practical signs.
- Thank the spirit and close the working. Store the sigil with respect.
A workable request can be simple:
“I call you, [Name], with respect. I ask your presence and your assistance in opening real prosperity and increasing the flow of money into my life, according to your office. I offer [state offering]. Aid me in this work.”
This method does not require a large formal circle or a license to depart written in the old coercive style. Respectful conduct and clear closing keep the exchange cleaner.
Method Two: Formal Solomonic / Goetic Ceremony
This is the classical ceremonial method many older practitioners first learned from the grimoires, especially the Ars Goetia.
The operator works inside a protective circle. The spirit is called into a triangle outside the circle. Divine names, seals, and sequential conjurations are used to establish contact. The traditional tone is hierarchical and commanding rather than relational.
Main elements
- Circle of roughly nine feet, marked with divine names
- Triangle of Art outside the circle
- The spirit’s seal
- Sword or knife, wand, incense, candles, and often formal ritual clothing
General sequence
- Purification and preparation
- Construction of circle and triangle
- Preliminary invocations of authority
- Conjuration of the spirit by name and office
- Stronger constraints if the spirit does not appear
- Charge the spirit with the prosperity request once contact is made
- Formal license to depart
- Closing of the working
In this framework, a prosperity request would be delivered as a command or charge once the spirit is present in the triangle, still inside the older structure of authority and containment.
This style is elaborate and historically important. It treats the demon as a power to be bound and directed. Later relational approaches moved away from the threats and hostile divine names while keeping some of the practical tools.
Method Three: Modern Spell and Petition Ritual
Many contemporary spell books and working packs use a shorter script: candle, seal, spoken petition, and a simple sequence without full Solomonic machinery.
Typical shape
- Choose the demon associated with wealth or advancement.
- Set out the seal, a candle, and any listed materials.
- Recite the prepared petition asking for money, clients, promotion, or financial relief.
- Leave an offering.
- Snuff or allow the candle to finish according to the spell’s instructions.
- Dispose of remains as directed and watch for practical results.
This method is accessible and can be effective when the operator is focused and serious. It is also the method most often treated too lightly. A printed spell does not remove the need for clear intention, basic control, and proper closing. Used well, it is a legitimate short form. Used casually, it is only performance.
Forms of contact
Across all three methods, contact is not always dramatic. It may arrive as:
- we suggest the use of a pendulum for somebody that is absolutely new because a pendulum is the easiest divination tool to get yes and no responses and build from there
- even new people into this can see a spirit or demon appear in a corner of a room. That is not uncommon, but this is different from it actually connecting with you, as you may need to develop the skill to hear what it is actually saying, or you could misinterpret it through your own fear
- thoughts or sudden useful ideas
- a shift in atmosphere or a strong influx of energy
- visual or auditory impressions
- smoke, mirror, or meditative imagery
- later practical openings and coincidences that are hard to ignore
Many people need more than one attempt before contact is clear. If nothing useful happens, close properly and try again later with greater precision.
Closing note
The same goal, prosperity, can be approached through relationship, through formal ceremonial constraint, or through a modern spell script. The spirit remains the same. What changes is the operator’s stance, structure, and responsibility. Choose the method that matches your preparation, not only your curiosity.
