Advanced Black Magick

This is the section for those who want to step into the living current of advanced Black Magick …. the direct work with demons, the study of their natures, the practices of demonolatry, blood magic, invocation, evocation, and the deliberate preparation of space to summon ancient entities into presence.

It is the point at which the practitioner begins to meet the spiritual world on its own terms and to form real relationships with the forces that have always existed beyond the ordinary human frame.

The Pure Occultist

A great many people arrive here with no interest in witchcraft.

They do not want candles, crystals, seasonal festivals, or the aesthetic of modern witch culture. That is completely valid.

You do not need any of those things to walk this path. If your focus is occultism, the study of demons, and the practice of Black Magick itself, you are already in the right place.

Nothing else is required.

Fast Track Into “Enlightenment”

What follows is a straightforward way to begin moving from zero into this work with clarity and seriousness.

1. First, get honest about why you are here.

If your intention is to perform one spell or ritual and then walk away, that is your choice  but understand there are real issues with approaching powerful forces in that manner. We are not forbidding it; we are naming the risk. If that is not your situation and you intend to study further, begin with shadow work.

Write down your greatest fears about working with demons or entering the spiritual world.

What is the worst-case scenario you imagine?

If the fear is of hell, damnation, or irreversible corruption, those beliefs need examination. Left unaddressed, they can create instability later. Honest self-examination at this stage is not weakness  it is preparation.

Also, in pure black magic at a highly advanced level, we don’t need any tools for rituals because it is a telepathic connection between you and the spirit. However, this can take a long time to develop. If you do not have that level of skill. You may need other tools or other elements to help you connect to an energetic source. If that is the case, this is when learning some of the other levels we spoke of previously can help you, because you do need to either feel a connection with the demons through your own belief and energetic vibration with those spirits, or have some other tool for raising the energy. 

2. Study the spirits themselves.

Learn what these entities have traditionally wanted from human beings, and more specifically what the particular spirit you intend to contact is known to desire or demand. Do not skip this step.

3. Begin the relationship before you ask for anything.

Many people behave like homeless beggars when dealing with ancient entities. What I mean by this is that people will start talking to Satan or Lucifer with a sad story and put their hand out asking for something.

“Lucifer, I never spoke with you before. However, my life sucks, my dog died, my girlfriend ran away, and I can’t get any more ladies. If you give me all of the above plus a million in the bank account, I’ll give you my soul.”

When you read this out aloud, you can hear how crazy it sounds, right? If it sounds perfectly okay, then you’re going to have to do a lot more reading to understand how this spiritual system actually works.

4. When you feel ready, write a short dedication or opening statement.

You don’t need to set yourself up with a gigantic altar, join a religious movement, do a pact, or anything else, especially if you’ve done the above. 

Introduce yourself. State your intention to begin a working relationship. This can be as simple or as formal as you choose. Many genuine paths start exactly this way  a clear, honest declaration that opens the door.

On Being Pagan in Advanced Black Magick

In the practice of advanced Black Magick we may not always like the word, but the reality is straightforward: we are pagan.

To work cleanly and effectively with demons, ancient entities, and the deeper currents of this path, any remaining energetic or psychological connection to Abrahamic religions must be released. The two frameworks do not mix.

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are built on a dualistic structure that casts many of the very forces we work with as enemies, rebels, or damned. Holding onto that structure  even partially, even unconsciously, creates internal conflict. It produces hesitation, fear, guilt, or the subtle expectation of punishment. These states interfere with the clarity and strength required for real spirit contact.

To function as a pure advanced occultist in this current is to stand outside the Abrahamic worldview. That is what we mean when we say we are pagan. We are not claiming membership in any particular modern pagan tradition, nor are we adopting soft earth-centered aesthetics. We are acknowledging that the beings we summon and form relationships with belong to older spiritual landscapes  the pre-Christian and non-Christian powers that have been present throughout human history. Approaching them while still carrying the moral and cosmological assumptions of the religions that later demonized them is a contradiction that weakens the work.

This orientation brings a specific form of respect. It is not the reverence of worship for its own sake. It is the practical recognition that these entities are real, autonomous, and long-established. They respond more readily to those who meet them without the background noise of inherited condemnation. When the practitioner has genuinely let go of Abrahamic conditioning, the energetic channel becomes clearer. Fear-based blocks diminish. Communication improves. The relationship can develop on its own terms rather than through the filter of forbidden knowledge or cosmic rebellion.

This is the primary reason we emphasize the point. The goal is not philosophical purity. The goal is stronger, more reliable connection with the forces we choose to work with. In advanced Black Magick, that connection is everything.

The language around magick is often confused, incomplete, or deliberately softened. People speak of “white” and “black,” of high and low, of beginner and advanced, as if these were fixed categories with clear moral or technical boundaries. In reality the words shift depending on who is speaking and what they fear or desire. At Black Witch Coven we have never treated these labels as absolute. We use them only as rough markers of experience and orientation so that a person can see where they actually stand and what is required next.

We describe three broad stages of engagement with magick. These are not ranks or initiations. They are simply different degrees of immersion in the forces that already exist.

The first stage is the foundation. Here a person learns to work with intention, energy, basic ritual structure, protection, correspondences, and the tools of the craft. Meditation, simple spellcraft, observation of results, and the steady building of personal discipline belong here. This is where most people begin, and where many remain for a long time. There is nothing lesser about it. Without these skills, everything that follows becomes unstable or purely theatrical.

The second stage is the deepening of skill and system. The practitioner becomes competent at adapting rituals, choosing the right timing and materials, holding focus, and reading feedback from their own work. Magical systems, symbolism, and more complex spellcraft become usable tools rather than recipes to be copied. This level is about competence and consistency. It still largely operates from the human side looking outward.

The third stage—what we call advanced black magick—is different in kind, not merely in difficulty.

Advanced work is the point at which a person becomes comfortable immersing themselves fully in the spiritual world. It means understanding that a multitude of spiritual forces are already at play, that these forces have their own natures, agendas, and currents, and that the human practitioner is one participant among them rather than the sole author of reality. It is the recognition of one’s own role as a human being within those forces: limited, embodied, yet capable of deliberate relationship and exchange.

At this level the magician is no longer merely casting spells into the world. They are learning to stand between the worlds with enough stability and discernment to receive, negotiate, and work with what answers. Invocation, evocation, spirit contact, demonic alliance, certain forms of necromantic work, and the more demanding currents of the Left-Hand Path belong here because they require exactly that immersion and that self-knowledge.

This is the territory most people label “taboo” or “black magic.” We do not reject the label. We simply refuse to treat it as a cartoon of evil. For us it is the honest recognition that real power involves real forces, real risk, and real responsibility. The goal is not to become something other than human. The goal is to enhance one’s magical knowledge and skills so that existence itself—material, psychological, and spiritual—can be lived with greater sovereignty and effectiveness.

Black Witch Coven has built its practice and its teaching around this understanding. We have never diluted the work to make it socially comfortable. We have offered both practical spellcraft for immediate need and the slower, more demanding path of genuine spirit contact. We have insisted that people build the foundations before they attempt the deeper currents, because the alternative is usually failure, self-deception, or harm. And we have treated the advanced stage not as a badge of superiority but as a place of greater clarity: knowing the forces, knowing one’s place among them, and continuing to refine the craft in service of a more powerful and conscious life.

This is how we see it. The names may change. The underlying progression does not.
