Numerology in Magical Practice

Numerology is the study of the occult meaning of numbers. It is placed here under Divination because its primary function is to reveal hidden patterns, timing, and energetic qualities that are not visible through ordinary means.

You may be wondering, “Why are we even talking about numerology in magic?” However, you may be really surprised about the role numbers play in magical success. 

Just like music has a vibration and a mathematical sequence that gets pushed out into the universe, when you start to think of numbers in this pattern, you could get a little excited. You understand why, looking at numerology and at least understanding some of the principles, you could think about how this could be incorporated in some way in your own magical practices. It could be a benefit to you and ultimately the way your energy is raised and you get what you want out of magic.

On every magical level, numerology has some benefit.

The material in this section is useful at every stage of practice. Beginners can use it for basic self-knowledge and simple timing. Intermediate practitioners can apply it to refine spellwork and correspondence. At the advanced level — particularly within Black Magick — numerology becomes a tool of precision: analysing spirit names, selecting ritual dates, constructing stronger links, and reading feedback after contact has been made.
