How to Charge a Chaos Magick Sigil with Sex

If you have never really looked into chaos magick, today is a good day to start, because it is a style of magick that takes a desire you can actually name and turns it into a symbol your deeper mind can work with.

You write what you want as one clear statement, reduce that statement into a mark, put energy into the mark while your everyday thinking is out of the way, and let the mark do its job.

Most large organizations on earth have been living under a mark like this for years, whether they ever call it a sigil or not. A logo that has been stared at, printed, worn, lit up on buildings, and loaded with hunger, loyalty, fear, and ambition is doing public sigil work in slow motion. That image has been fed attention until it has a current of its own.

Chaos magick takes the same principle and makes it personal, which is why I still get excited about teaching it. You can build a mark for money, a partner, a booking list, a court date, protection, or a name you want back in your life, and you can charge that mark until it is working while you are off living.

What a Chaos Magick Sigil Is

A chaos magick sigil is an image that secretly carries your desire.

The desire has to be written first, and it has to be a real statement, the kind of sentence you would be willing to stand behind. In the classic method you decide what you want, get clear about it, and write it in one simple line:

I DESIRE A NEW PARTNER.

I HAVE FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS IN MY ACCOUNT THIS MONTH.

THIS CLIENT SIGNS THE CONTRACT.

MY EX CONTACTS ME FIRST AND ASKS TO MEET.

That is a petition. You do not start with a mood, and you do not start with a metaphor. You start with one result, written so plainly that your mind knows exactly what success would look like.

Then you hide the sentence inside a symbol.

Some people take the first letter of each word and drop the repeats, then overlay those letters until they become a shape.

Some people write the whole statement, strip the repeating letters and the vowels, and draw what remains. Either way, the point is the same. The finished mark still contains the desire, but your conscious mind can no longer read it like a shopping list.

That gap is what makes the sigil powerful. At the moment of charging you are looking at a shape, not rehearsing a speech.

The symbol holds the petition. Charging is how you push that petition down where it can use force.

How a Sigil Gets Its Power

A sigil gets powerful when two things are true. The statement was sharp enough, and the charge was strong enough to get past the part of you that argues.

There are two broad ways to get into that state.

Some methods quiet the mind: meditation, breath, stillness, the slide into sleep. Some methods raise the body until thinking falls off: dance, exhaustion, drumming, shaking. In this work that peak is called gnosis. The sigil is shown to the deeper mind while the commentator is down.

You can also keep feeding a sigil by living with the image. If you have bought one from us, one of the options I give you is to redraw it and look at that drawing when you want to give it power, because copying the mark by hand and letting it occupy your eyesight is a real way of keeping it lit.

Then there is sex.

Sexual climax sits at the top of the excitatory methods because it does both jobs at once. The body spikes, and for a few seconds the talking mind is gone. If the sigil is in front of you then, the petition inside the mark can take that current directly. That is why I teach this, and that is why it still excites me. You are not charging a pretty doodle. You are charging a sentence that already had a result in it.

Charging a Sigil with Sex

Have the sigil ready before the heat takes over. If you are making your own, write the statement and turn it into a symbol while you are still clear. Look at it first and let the shape get into you. You do not need to repeat the original sentence. The sentence is already inside the drawing. Raise the sexual energy and keep returning to the mark. At climax, look at the sigil or hold the image of it and let the peak run into the drawing, then stay there a moment after, because that aftershock is part of the charging.

Alone, this is easy to aim. With a partner it can get even hotter, because their hunger thickens the room while you keep the sigil as the place that heat is going. I have done this for a long time with people who thought they were only having an unusually intense night, and some of them said afterward that it felt like ritual. They were feeling the current move, and you can use that.

If you hold the edge and do not come, the sigil fills and stays swollen. If you come, the sigil gets struck. Use the slow fill when you want a long-term piece held open. Use the peak when you want to hit it hard.

Sexual fluid on the lines puts your own current onto the mark. For the sigils that are staying in your life, money pieces, protection, the marks we keep in the house, a drop of blood is how we sign them and keep them eating. Looking and redrawing will keep a purchased sigil alive. Sex gives it a feast. Blood is for the ones that are meant to last.

Then put it back where the job lives. After a one-time send, many people destroy the paper and get on with their day so the conscious mind stops poking the desire. If you are keeping the image, you still leave the pleading alone. Feed the mark. Do not sit there asking it whether it has worked yet.

Reduce that statement into a symbol using the method on our Creating Sigils page, and finish the drawing before you start raising heat. The mark should be simple enough to hold in your mind at the peak.

Decide whether this paper is a one-time send or a sigil you are going to keep seeing. If you are keeping it, put it on something that can survive more than one night. Then charge it the same way: place it where your eyes will go, build the heat, and send the climax into the mark. If you are releasing it, finish the working and go on with your day. If you are keeping it, feed it later by looking, redrawing, sex, or blood, according to how long that desire still needs force.
