Mesmerism Spells in Black Magic

Most witches collect tools and call that power. A candle. A seal. A purchased rite. Meanwhile the oldest instrument in the room goes unused: the body that looks, speaks, and does not blink first.

I have been saying this for decades, especially to occult women and men…..

Your looks are the first illusion.

Mesmerism, in the way this house means it, is not stage hypnosis and it is not a Victorian parlor trick with a pocket watch. It is the trained use of presence until another nervous system yields.

Witches called it fascination, glamour, the commanding glance.

Satanists later called the same thing lesser magic.

The name changes. The fact does not. Some people walk into a room and the room rearranges. That rearrangement is a spell.

Where the knowledge comes from

  1. Franz Anton Mesmer, in the 1770s, said living bodies share a magnetic fluid. He used tubs, iron rods, music, and group crisis. His students dropped most of the furniture and kept the current.
  2. A. M. J. de Chastenet de Puységur found that some subjects did not convulse. They went quiet, answered only the operator, and woke changed. He called that magnetic sleep. Rapport is his word: the subject hears you and not the room.
  3. Joseph Deleuze and the later magnetizers turned that into a manual: sit them easy, take the hands, lock the eyes, send the fluid down the body with passes, throw the hands out on the way back so you do not drag the current back up, wake them with the reverse.

What Mesmerism Actually Is

Mesmer argued that a subtle current moves through living bodies, that illness and influence are problems of flow, and that a strong operator can throw that current. Later medicine sanded him down into “suggestion” and “rapport.” Both can be true at once. There is a physiological event: breath syncs, pupils change, attention locks, the other person stops scanning the exits. There is also a magical event: your field occupies more of the space than your skin accounts for.

In black magic that second event is the point. You are not asking the other person to have a nice insight. You are placing weight. The look is the first placement. Voice is the second. Stillness is the third. Tools come after, if they come at all.

A mesmerism spell, then, is any working whose main engine is fascination. No smoke required. The operator becomes the circle.

People’s Power in Black Magic

Black magic is not the color of the candle. It is the refusal to pretend you are harmless. Power here is attention, charge, aim, and follow-through. What you can hold without flinching. What your body will carry. A single outcome named in daylight words. The act after the rite, when the glamour would otherwise evaporate into fantasy.

Most so-called black magic fails because the operator wants the result of domination and the self-image of innocence. Mesmerism will not permit that split. If you cannot stand inside the fact that you are influencing someone, the glance collapses into staring. Staring is need. Need is readable. Readable need is not glamour.

The old names are blunt: binding the eye, stealing the breath, laying a glamour, sending the fetch through the face. You do not have to accept every village story to use the mechanism. A person who can hold silence longer than the other person can hold anxiety already has a working in progress.

It is four things, in this order:

  • Attention. What you can hold without flinching.
  • Charge. What your body will actually carry: heat, sex, grief, rage, appetite.
  • Aim. A single outcome, named in daylight words.
  • Follow-through. The act after the rite, when the glamour would otherwise evaporate into fantasy.

Most “black magic” fails because the operator wants the result of domination and the self-image of innocence. Mesmerism will not permit that split. If you cannot stand inside the fact that you are influencing someone, the glance collapses into staring. Staring is need. Need is readable. Readable need is not glamour.

The old names for this work are blunt: binding the eye, stealing the breath, laying a glamour, sending the fetch through the face. You do not have to accept every folklore claim to use the mechanism. A person who can hold silence longer than the other person can hold anxiety already has a working in progress.

People’s Power in Satanism

Satanism, in its serious forms, is not costume devil-worship. It is the doctrine that the self is the altar. LaVey’s lesser magic is mesmerism in a cheap suit: appearance, timing, voice, the calculated use of sex and awe so that another will yields without a formal evocation. Theistic Satanists go further and say the current is a being, and that the operator becomes a mouth of it. Either way, the demand on the practitioner is the same. Stop asking permission from a cosmos that you have already declared you do not serve.

That is why Satanic work and mesmerism belong in the same conversation. Both assume that hierarchy is real in the moment of contact. One field is heavier. One gaze organizes the other. If that sentence offends a democratic feeling, good. Democracy is a civic arrangement. It is not how animals, crowds, or temples actually move.

Power in Satanism is wasted when it stays theatrical. Face paint and inverted slogans are glamour only if they change the temperature of the room. If they do not, they are cosplay. The Satanic operator who can walk in unmarked and still take the air out of a conversation is closer to the doctrine than the one who needs the whole altar to feel real.

The left-hand point is simple. You are not here to be liked. You are here to be effective. Mesmerism is one of the few arts that makes that measurable in under a minute.

How Little of This People Actually Use

Walk through occult spaces and watch how much power is left on the table.

They hide in groups. They outsource will to a purchased spell. They talk for twenty minutes before a rite and leak the charge. They look at their notes instead of the person. They break their own gaze to smile, to apologize, to check whether they are still good. That last flinch is the whole failure.

Magic is not underpowered. Operators are undercommitted. They want the myth of the witch and the social rewards of being unthreatening. So they do “intentions.” They do boards. They do aesthetic. They do not do the one thing that would change a night: become difficult to look away from, and difficult to refuse.

Using your power more does not mean cursing every slight. It means refusing to enter a room as a guest in your own current. It means deciding, before you speak, what the other nervous system is going to do. It means treating your face, your pace, and your silence as implements.

If you cannot influence a cashier, a lover, or a rival without a full demonic evocation, you are not ready for demons. You have not yet used the animal you already are.

The Look Is Already a Glamour

Glamour is not makeup. Makeup can carry it. Glamour is the spell of seeming: the field dressed as a fact.

You look. That is the first seal. A look that lasts one beat too long, without apology, without the little smile that begs to be forgiven, is already working. The other person has to decide whether to submit the glance, laugh it off, or flee. All three decisions feed you information. Two of them feed you position.

This is why witches were accused of the eye. Not because every village story was a laboratory proof, but because people can feel when they have been taken as an object of will. The hairline rise. The thought that arrives as if it were their own. The sudden wish to agree. Call it suggestion if you need the modern word. Call it the eye if you are among us.

To train the look:

  • Hold your own eyes in a mirror until the urge to perform goes quiet. What remains is usable.
  • In conversation, finish the sentence in your gaze before you finish it in your mouth.
  • Do not nod like a dog while you wait your turn. Stillness reads as rank.
  • Lower the blink rate only as much as you can do without looking broken. Strain is not glamour. Density is.
  • Let silence sit past the point of comfort. The first person who rushes to fill it has lost the pass.

Voice follows the eyes. Slow is heavier than loud. A short command outperforms a paragraph of explanation. Breath down in the belly keeps the current from leaking out as chatter.

None of this requires a spirit name. That is the insult and the gift. People skip it because it makes them responsible. If the glance works, you did it. You cannot blame a demon for your own face.

A Mesmerism Working

Use this when the aim is influence in a living encounter, not a remote altar drama. Name the aim in one line before you begin. “They will hear me as inevitable.” “They will not leave the conversation until I release it.” “They will want to please me and not know why.” If you cannot say the aim without squirming, you are not doing black magic. You are doing a mood.

Sit or stand where you will later face them, or face a dark glass if the meeting is still ahead. Hands still. Jaw loose. Breath low.

I am the weight in the room.
I am the pause they cannot name.
My look is the circle.
My breath is the cord.
What I regard, I claim for the length of this work.
Yield is not asked.
Yield is arranged.

Say it until the body believes it. Then go do the hour. The spell is not the speech. The spell is you walking in already decided.

If you work with a spirit current behind the glance, call it after the body is set, not before. A demon on top of a collapsed operator is theatre. A demon behind a settled gaze is another matter. Mesmerism first. Names second.

How Far This Can Go

Far enough to ruin a weak person’s evening. Far enough to open a door that was shut. Far enough to make a room choose you without a vote. Far enough, if you are sloppy, to make you drunk on the first yes and stupid with the second.

It does not go as far as rewriting a life from one stare. Anyone selling that is selling loneliness back to you at a markup. Fascination holds while the field holds. When you leak, giggle, over-explain, or chase, the glamour drops and the other person remembers they have legs.

It also does not go as far as wisdom. Power of this type is amoral in the way weather is amoral. You can use it to take. You can use it to gather a coven into one breath. You can use it to walk out of a situation that was eating you. The art does not care. Your aftermath will.

The limit worth respecting is not a polite fiction about having no power. You have it. Most of you are underusing it because using it would mean admitting you want something. Black magic begins at that admission. Satanism, at its least theatrical, is the same admission with a spine in it. Mesmerism is the admission made visible.

Look. Hold. Do not decorate the holding with an apology. See how far the room moves before you spend another dollar on a tool.
