Chaos Magick Reading List
The “best” book on chaos magic is one which makes sense to you and how much time you have to invest in your magical studies. Still, the books listed below should be consumed by the student of Chaos Magick.
Beginners
- Hands-On Chaos Magic: Reality Manipulation through the Ovayki Current by Andrieh Vitimus – Easy to understand and easy to begin chaos magic rituals. This book is essential for those who want to perform the magick FIRST without reading the heavy chaos theory writings.
- Liber Null & Psychonaut: An Introduction to Chaos Magic, by Peter Carroll: The material draws heavily from Aleister Crowley but is a staple in every chaos magicians bookshelf. Liber Null, first published in the late 1970s by Ray Sherwin, and was the introduction handbook for the Illuminates of Thanteros, the first group dedicated to chaos magick.
Advanced
- Liber Kaos (1992) – this one is geared towards more advanced practitioners.
