It’s important that you know there are spirits guarding the integrity of the cemetery, and if you disrespected the spirits then the stories & the legends you may hear about spirits following you home, or bad luck being attached to the spiritual objects, is completely true.

In most parts of any country, cemeteries are completely off-limits meaning that you can get arrested and go to jail for collecting or taking anything from the cemetery. This means that we are risking our liberty for the purposes of magic! We have been chased out of a cemetery more than once, and in a digital age we have to take great lengths to try and mask our identity and the identity of our vehicles.

Next, once you’re in the cemetery, you need to find a grave, or perhaps several graves that suit the purposes of what you’re trying to achieve with the end product. This can take some time. For those who are into black magic you know that necromancy is finding a strong connection and relationship with death in order to achieve what you need in life.

Not that everybody uses this dirt for necromancy purposes, but even for spellcasting purposes, it’s important that the dirt has the essence of the spirit from the grave. Savannah finds specific graves that have the essence of old death.

Once we collect the dirt in a very specific manner, we ensure that we cover-up and beautify the grave so to show no disrespect to both the inhabitants of that grave and the inhabitants of the cemetery. As we are taking away the dirt for purposes of our own betterment, so we share the rewards on the grave with different offerings such as money, candles, flowers, sometimes alcohol, or other appropriate offerings for that specific grave.

We acknowledge that we are only here on this earth for a short time before we too enter the grave. We also give other prayers and sigils and blessings of gratitude and appreciation.
