Agliarept is listed within the Grimorium Verum as a lesser demon directly in service of Lucifer and his position accords him great power in hell. There are only two demons with this office – the other being Satanachia. Agliarept also rules over the Elelogap in conclave with Tarihimal. In contrast to most other demons within the Grimorium Verum, this demon is also listed within the Grand Grimorie and the Secrets of Solomon. The other variations of his name are Agliaerept and Agalierap – these are hardly ever used in the context of practice however. He is said to have dominion over Asia Minor and Europe and is a Grand General of Hell / Hades.
The Dark Lodge edition of the Grand Grimorie states the following about Agliarept: “Agaliarept, General, has the power to uncover the most well-hidden secrets of all of the courts and cabinets of the world and reveals the greatest mysteries; he commands the second legion of spirits and has Guer, Gusoyn and Boris etc.. under his command.” This demon commands the Second Legion of spirits in hell with the following demons under his command – Boris, Guer, and Gusoyn. Agliarept is said to be capable of revealing the most well kept secrets at the highest levels of power as well as unravelling the greatest mysteries.
As a lesser demon, he can be summoned through the same ritual outlined in the Grimorium Verum for calling forth inferior demons. The ritual for summoning demons within his hierarchy is provided within the Third Book of the Grimorium Verum in detail. The medium is required to avoid all forms of biblical sin nor have any sexual contact for three days. Only after this can the last steps in the process of invoking the demon be properly conducted by the medium. It is the ritual outlined in the Grimorium Verum for invoking the inferior demons despite its seeming difficulty.
History
Agliarept was first mentioned within recorded history through the publication of the Secrets of Solomon in the year 1517 by Alibek the Egyptian. His next mention was in the Grimorium Verum which was published in 1817. Agliarept was next listed in the Grand Grimorie during its publication in 1821. There are no discernible correlations between this demon and ancient Middle-Eastern mythology or early Graeco-Roman stories. He was quite possibly an olden Gentile god who was demonized with the advent of Christianity throughout the Middle Ages.

Items Required
- The seal of the demon
- Virgin parchment
- Quill
- Holy water
Precautions:
- As with every other demon, it is necessary to accord this one his respect. This not only prevents or reduces malevolent intent but also increases the likelihood of desired outcomes.
- Care should also be taken by the conjuror to protect themselves from otherworldly energies. This is done through mentally envisioning a protection circle and entering it.
- Over-reliance on demons’ energy is not advisable as it has been posited to affect one at the psychological level.
Steps
- The conjuror should prepare for the ritual through breathing exercises or power meditation in order to balance their energies first.
- They should proceed to then say the following as they wash their arms and face with holy water: “Lord God, ADONAY, who hast formed man in Thine image, I, the unworthy and sinful, beseech Thee to sanctify this water, to benefit my body and soul, cause me to be cleansed.”
- The conjuror must desist from committing any sin and abstain from sexual contact for a period of three days, while praying five times in the day, and four times at night.
- At the chosen time and hour, the virgin parchment should be prepared containing invocations and the Seal of Agliarept.
- The following should then be recited: “I conjure thee, Agliarept, by the name of the Great Living God, Sovereign Creator of all things, that thou appear in human form, fair and agreeable, without noise or inconvenience, to answer truthfully in all the interrogations that I shall make. I conjure thee to do this by the power of the Holy and Sacred Names.”
- After the ritual, Agliarept should be dismissed by saying the following prayer: “Go in peace, Agliarept, whence you came, peace be with you, and come every time I shall call you, in the name of the Father + and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit + Amen”.
- The character of the demon together with the virgin parchment should then be burnt because he can only serve you once when called forth.
