Frucissiere, the Thirteenth Servitor of Duke Syrach

Frucissiere is the thirteenth servitor demon of Duke Syrach who is mentioned within the Grimorium Verum and the Secrets of Solomon. He is also referred to as Frulthiel although this name is relatively uncommon within the context of practice. The Plangiere edition of the Grimorium Verum states the following regarding this demon: “Frucissiere receives the dead.” This demon is primarily associated with necromancy and magic which involves dealing with previously deceased personalities – he can be summoned forth for similar clandestine rituals.

 

Like the other demons ascribed to servitude under Duke Syrach, there is a distinct lack of information regarding Frucissiere. It is therefore impossible to comprehensively understand the demon’s nature. As long as he is invoked properly, the risk of malevolence – punitive or otherwise – is significantly reduced. This is verly important considering that the true nature of this demon is not known within demonology circles. In so doing, one thus increases the chances of a desirable outcome while simultaneously protecting themselves from any possible malevolence.

 

Frucissiere’s placement towards the middle of the hierarchy notwithstanding, he is still very potent and must be accorded the proper respect shown to all demons during their respective invocation rituals. It is presently not known whether Frucissiere himself is of malevolent, benevolent, or indifferent nature towards human beings – likewise it is unknown whether he is exclusively diurnal or nocturnal. The dearth of information regarding his true nature is also evidence of the need for only well experienced conjuror’s to try summoning Frucissiere.

 

The ritual for calling forth Frucissiere is the same one used in the summoning of the other servitor demons of Duke Syrach. It is a really tasking ritual which is given in the Grimorium Verum specifically for this purpose. This ritual asks the medium to avoid all forms of sin or have any sexual contact for a period of three days. After this, the conduction of the last steps in the process of the invocation of Frucissiere can be done.  Despite this seeming difficulty, this is the most basic ritual for invoking the eighteen inferior demons under the servitude of Duke Syrach. Other rituals can also be used to varied ends.

 

History

There is a distinct lack of available historical information regarding Humots as akin to the other inferior demons within this hierarchy. Like the others within his hierarchy, the first instance that this demon is mentioned with recorded history is in 1517 during the publication of the Grimorium Verum by Alibek the Egyptian. There are no credible reports of this demon within ancient Middle-Eastern mythology or early Graeco-Roman narratives. He is thus quite possibly an ancient pagan god who was demonized with the spread of Christianity during the Middle Ages.

Appearance

Like the other servitor demons of Duke Syrach, Frucissiere is cloaked in mystery largely due to the lack of credible and comprehensive information regarding him. Not much is known about this demon’s physical appearance as the Grimorium Verum does not make mention of it. Furthermore, there are no reports of his appearance within credible accounts or major grimories. It is thus possible that Frucissiere is invisible when he manifests and the medium should expect to feel his presence rather than to see him physically.

When to summon Frucissiere

This demon is associated with necromancy as the Grimorium Verum posits that he receives the dead. He can thus be summoned when the medium is looking to engage in necromancy.

 

Ritual Time: It is presently unknown whether the demon is exclusively diurnal or nocturnal thus there is no ascribed time-frame for invocation.

Precautions:

• As with every other demon, it is necessary to accord this demon its respect. This not only prevents / reduces malevolent intent but also increases the likelihood of desired outcomes.
• Care should also be taken by the conjuror to protect themselves from otherworldly energies. This is done through mentally envisioning a protection circle and entering it.
• Overreliance on this demon’s energy is not advisable as it can have adverse effects on one’s psychological health.

 

Steps

• The conjuror should prepare by engaging in power meditation to balance their energies.
• The conjuror should then prepare themselves through saying the following prayer while washing their arms and face with the holy (consecrated) water: “Lord God, ADONAY, who hast formed man in Thine image, I, the unworthy and sinful, beseech Thee to sanctify this water, to benefit my body and soul, cause me to be cleansed.”
• The conjuror must avoid any form of sin and stay chaste for the next three days, whilst praying five times in the day, and four times at night.
• At the chosen time and hour, the virgin parchment should be prepared containing invocations and the Seal of Frucissiere.
• The following conjuration is then said: “I conjure thee, Frucissiere, by the name of the Great Living God, Sovereign Creator of all things, that thou appear in human form, fair and agreeable, without noise or inconvenience, to answer truthfully in all the interrogations that I shall make. I conjure thee to do this by the power of the Holy and Sacred Names.”
• After completion of the ritual, the demon should be dismissed respectfully through the following prayer: “Go in peace, Frucissiere, whence you came, peace be with you, and come every time I shall call you, in the name of the Father + and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit + Amen”.
