To separate a couple…….

• anoint a red candle or a back-to-back couple candle with Break Up Oil. You want to anoint the oil away from you by pushing the oil toward the bottom of the candle.
• On a piece of parchment paper, or a brown paper bag works fine, write the name of your love interest three times, turn the paper 90 degrees and then write the name of the person they are currently attached to over his/her name three times. In essence, the names should be crossed.
• Write your own name below it three times with your intention. You may want to add something such as “for the good of all involved” or “If it is God’s will,” etc.
• Place it under the candle and burn.
• When the candle is completely burned out, take the remaining wax and your petition to a crossroads and throw it over your left shoulder.
