Ritual Date: October 17th, 2024
This month has us back in New Orleans, Louisiana, performing the full moon ritual amongst all the crazy energy that happens on a daily basis in New Orleans. This evening’s ritual will be focused on honoring the moon Goddess along with the God of our own crossroads. Each Coven member will pay homage and respects, then introduce the personal request, along with a client’s request. Afterwards, we plan to get out and about in the city of New Orleans, and experience the spiritual vibe.
About the Moon this Month: The “Blood Moon”
The Veil is thin at this time of the year, so think about the connections to your departed as well!
This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Hunters Moon because at this time of year the leaves are falling and the game is fat and ready to hunt. This moon has also been known as the Travel Moon and the Blood Moon.
If you’re a solo practitioner – you may not even feel like performing a Ritual tonight and here is a potential reason why you’re feeling like this……The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster then is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.
October Full Moon Correspondences:
Astrological Context: Moon in Aries
- Full Moon in Aries: A full moon in Aries is characterized by dynamic energy, assertiveness, and a focus on individual desires and actions. It can bring about a surge of motivation, a need for independence, and a drive to take initiative.
- Opposition to the Sun in Libra: During this time, the moon in Aries will be in opposition to the Sun in Libra, creating a balance (or tension) between self-assertion (Aries) and cooperation or relationships (Libra).
Planetary Influence:
- Mars: Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of action, aggression, and desire. The influence of Mars during this full moon may amplify themes of courage, confrontation, and the need to assert personal will.
- Venus: Libra, on the other hand, is ruled by Venus, which governs love, harmony, and relationships. This can create a dynamic interplay between personal goals and relational harmony.
The planetary phase or influence you might focus on would thus be the dynamic between Mars (Aries) and Venus (Libra) during this full moon, guiding your magical work toward themes of balance between independence and partnership.

Why should you clear your thoughts on a monthly basis?
The releasing and abundance ritual is about clearing your mind. Releasing the negative thoughts, and set the intention to bring you what you need in your life right now.
Your thoughts create vibrations throughout the universes, which makes setting intentions a powerful tool for achieving happiness and well-being. Intentions are like magnets. They attract what will make them come true. Setting an intention is a powerful tool for achieving happiness.
Having a clear purpose provides us with insight into our aspirations, dreams, and values. It also helps us live in the present moment instead of being caught in negative thought patterns. Those negative thoughts are what you need to write down and release this month.
Stuck on setting goals?
Crafting an intention starts by setting goals that align with your values, aspirations, and purpose.
- Decide what matters to you. Your values drive the actions in your life, and you’ll need to recognize what truly matters to you if you want to find fulfillment.
- Explore areas of your life that need an upgrade. Consider how you can improve your relationships, career, social life, spirituality, health, and community.
- Be specific about what you want to achieve, when you want to achieve it, and why.
- Bring your intentions to life. In this ritual, we will ask you to write them down. Make sure you write them in the present tense, as if they’re happening now, and affirm only what you want. You should also write down your goal, the end result of what you wish to manifest. Put feeling into it!
After you make your purchase, we will ask you to write one releasing item and one abundance item. If you have several items, keep them for next month and join us once again. If you have nothing specific to ask for, we have our own petition that we use for our long-term clients, so don’t feel pressured to come up with something.
Feedback Date:
- Allow me at least 3 to 5 week days after the ritual to send you my thoughts and update.
Information required for this ritual:
-
- After payment, you will find the list of the required information.
- You will also find my email address, and that is where you’ll send the information.
- Do not send your info to the support email address.
A Common Question: Why do Sorcerers & Witches Love The Night?
As every Left-Hand Path magician knows, the moonlight and nighttime foster an exceptionally great time and space to perform a ritual. While virtually everyone sleeps overnight, the etheric plane that envelopes earth becomes clear and peaceful, thus our evocations act like a lightning rod to spirits, and our spells cut right across the ether without interference. This provides a black magician and lunar witch an environment of extremely heightened energy for magick impregnation.
Needless to say, in the daytime, the local area of the etheric plane becomes muddy and filled with human ideas, pains, wishes, regrets, sadness, excitement, etc.
We sorcerers love the night because it provides us the clearest channel for our magick—among many other reasons too such as identification with lunar deities.
