• While holding on to your tarot deck, call out to the spirit you wish to connect with. You can say something like:

“I wish to speak to _________________.

Please I need you to come forth and bring me………………….. (state your intention) through this tarot reading.”

• While meditating on your intention, shuffle the cards and concentrate on the spirit you wish to communicate with.
• If you are using a spread, explain to the spirits what the spread is and how you want them to assist you.
• When you are ready, stop shuffling and cut the deck then lay the chosen cards down.
• Start reading.
• Look at the cards as you flip them over, and consider your first impressions. You will hear a voice in your mind that will guide you.

Appreciate the spirits and close the reading.

After every consultation, always thank the spirits for honoring your invitation and for the information that has been received. When you are done, dismiss the spirits respectfully.

Communicating with Spirits using Spirit Boards

These are boards with letters and numbers inscriptions. I love spirit boards. The concept of these boards is pretty straightforward. You can do this by yourself or with a group of persons. The idea is to summon the spirits and in response, they will move the planchette around the board to spell out answers to the questions you have asked. To increase the board’s energy, you can write your name or draw some symbols on it.

If the board makes you feel nervous or uncomfortable, please, stay away from it. The whole process of working with the Ouija board might seem harmless not until it leads to demonic possession or worse.

Communicating with Spirits through Automatic Writing

This is a process of writing without using your conscious mind. It is often done while the writer is in a trance. In Mumbai, automatic writing and mediumship are the most popular forms of spirit communication. It is widely used to communicate with the spirits of departed loved ones.

According to spiritualistic beliefs, the medium would ask the spirit to guide the pencil or pen. The spirit passes his message through the writing. Hold the pendulum in your dominant hand. Grasp the end of the chain and allow the crystal to hang loosely above the table surface. Ask the pendulum a simple question like ‘What is yes?’ This is to know the direction it moves for a “yes” or “no” response. It may swing clockwise, counterclockwise, side to side or back and forth. Take note of its direction. When you are ready, you can ask other questions. After consulting spirits with a pendulum, don’t forget to say “Goodbye’ and dismiss the spirit properly.

Communicating with Spirits through Dreams

We have different kinds of dreams. The normal dreams, prophetic dreams, dreams induced by intoxicating substances, dreams induced by a hypnotist, dreams induced by spirits, etc.

Deceased loved ones often appear to us in our dreams. For spirits, it is easier to convey messages through dreams. If there are spirits that you wish to see in your dream, all you have to do is to invite them and they will come.

At night before sleeping, drink a glass of water then let your heart be focused on your intention. If you wish to see the spirit of a dead loved one, think about the time you spent together when they were alive. Meditate on the questions that you seek to find answers to. When you’ve finally fallen asleep, you will see the spirit in your dream.
