🌕 May 2026 Full Flower Moon Ritual – A Daemonic Coven Event 🌕

In the ancient sandstone cliffs and mist-veiled gorges of the Blue Mountains, sacred Country of the Gundungurra and Darug peoples, Black Witch Coven gathers under the May Full Moon as it transits through the intense waters of Scorpio.

This is our private, closed ritual. No outsiders. No spectators. Only those who walk the Left-Hand Path.

RITUAL IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS – NSW AUSTRALIA

The Full Moon on May 1, 2026 (peaking early morning AEST) is an incredibly powerful window, especially in the ancient, mist-shrouded landscapes of the Blue Mountains. This is one of Australia’s most spiritually charged places traditional Country of the Gundungurra and Darug peoples, filled with Dreamtime stories, creation beings, and raw elemental energy. Combining the Full Moon’s amplifying power with this land turns a simple ritual into a profound, transformative experience.

The Rite

We begin with the traditional Drawing Down the Moon. Standing upon the ancient rock, beneath the silver light striking the escarpments and echoing through the deep valleys, Savannah, High Priestess of the Coven calls the living power of the Moon into her body. The lunar current floods through her, becoming a direct channel of raw, primal feminine force…. dark, magnetic, and merciless. In this state she becomes the vessel through which the coven commands reality.

Once the Moon is drawn down, we move into Gratitude and Empowerment.

We offer deep, sincere gratitude to the daemonic forces that have guided and strengthened our work this month:

• Lilith — Queen of the Night, for unleashing obsessive desire, sexual dominion, and the ruthless power of feminine will.
• Lucifer — Light Bearer and Liberator, for granting clarity, empowerment, and the strength to bend others to our desire.
• Baphomet — The Sabbatic Goat, for alchemical union of opposites, sexual transformation, and the perfect binding of hearts and minds.
• Asmodeus — Demon of Lust and Wrath (strongly aligned with Scorpio currents), for inflaming uncontrollable passion and removing all obstacles to union.

We thank them with blood, smoke, and spoken vow upon the land. Their presence is palpable in the Blue Mountains ….the cliffs themselves seem to answer.

Communion with the Daemonic

We then open ourselves completely to direct psychic connection with the invoked powers. First the High Priestess and the coven as a whole seek guidance, answers, and revelations for our own path.

We then open the circle so every participant & client may receive personal messages, visions, or directives. Any words, sensations, or transmissions that come through are spoken aloud, recorded, and shared among us without filter.

Celebration

Once the work and communion are complete, we move into celebration. Under the Scorpio Full Moon we feast, drink, dance, and revel in ecstatic delight  honouring the daemons and the land through joyous excess and unrestrained power.

Energetic / Magical Considerations (Black Witch Perspective)

We conduct this rite upon the sacred Country aka territory, of the Gundungurra and Darug peoples with full awareness and respect for the Traditional Owners, past, present, and emerging. We have honoured the lands and their ancient laws by performing our workings without blood offerings or any actions that would disrespect the local traditions or protocols of the peoples of this territory. The power we raise remains anchored here in reverence and command.

The Blue Mountains carry extremely potent chthonic and Dreamtime energy…. raw, ancient, and alive. The cliffs, mists, and sandstone were literally forged through battles between creator beings. When we perform our Drawing Down the Moon, gratitude to the daemons, and heavy binding work here, we are stepping into someone else’s spiritual jurisdiction.

• Approaching with arrogance or zero acknowledgment can result in the land itself pushing back … diluted power, strange interference, psychic static, or the working simply “not taking.”
• Approaching with clear respect and a proper Acknowledgement of Country often does the opposite: the land spirits may lend their immense force to the working, amplifying the Scorpio Moon current and anchoring the spell more deeply.

In our ritual we integrate respect without weakening our power or turning it into a tourist Acknowledgement. We do it our way… dark, commanding, and unapologetic, but not disrespectful.

NOTES FROM 2022 EVENT

Dear & Beloved Guests,

It was my pleasure to work with the group this month on the night of the full moon, to honour Gusion. Gusion is not well known or should I say not often requested as a Demon for us to work with either spiritually or through spell work and ritual.

Many of you will only know me by name as I currently assist in corresponding with our clients by email. For many years I provide only in-house rituals and spells, such as the occasional full moon ritual, or when Savannah, Vald or another BWC occultist requires another individual in their session. I was pleased to lead this outdoors full moon event.

As mentioned above, this event was held outside with a few Coven members. We do not like to share many photos of our outdoor events as these are private and to be honest we don’t want these images flying around the Internet. Many of us are fiercely private individuals and do not wish for notoriety in the broader witchcraft or occult communities. The photo attached is one of what it looks like when we get together for an outdoor ritual or event, especially when the event only requires a simple offering.

For this full moon, after summoning Gusion, and the other four spirits to the quarters, we put forward the request you sent us. What you can’t see in the photo is the large fire we had started. This month we were reading directly off some of the paperwork sent in to us from our clients. Otherwise, we followed coven tradition and prepared the offerings and the request as usual.

I will add here that even while Mercury is in retrograde with Taurus, we didn’t seem to have any issues either amongst ourselves working with the group, communicating what you wanted with the spiritual world, with anybody finding excuses not to be in attendance, or any other negative effect (that we know of.) Mercury Retrograde in Taurus will continue until June 3, so hopefully, this report will reach you without issue 😉 Mercury Retrograde’s energy may be tough for you to handle, but it will affect everyone slightly differently. It is what it is so try not to be too stressed when things don’t happen as you like. Sometimes it’s good to step back and allow the energy to happen without freaking out, knowing that it will soon pass and that it is external to you.

I have personally shared my daemonic journey with Gusion for over 20 years. During this time I have found Gusion to be generous and patient while I move between various stages of my spiritual growth. Gusion helped me to focus on what was important and not be stuck on matters of small importance with people who disrupt your journey with their folly. By working with Gusion I have found much success both in my personal life, and in my career as a warlock. In summary, Gusion has created the opportunity for me to be independently wealthy and choose what I now do with my time.

Thank-you Edwin for the update, personally I have never heard of Gusion until this full moon ritual but I liked what I read about him. I did a offering myself and decided to paint my toenails a yellow green in honor and offering for the rest of the lunar cycle. Seems strange but that’s what I felt even tho it’s not traditional. But we all have our own ways and hear different things. Thanks again for the update you are greatly appreciated.

A Common Question: Why do Sorcerers & Witches Love The Night?

As every Left-Hand Path magician knows, the moonlight and nighttime foster an exceptionally great time and space to perform a ritual. While virtually everyone sleeps overnight, the etheric plane that envelopes earth becomes clear and peaceful, thus our evocations act like a lightning rod to spirits, and our spells cut right across the ether without interference. This provides a black magician and lunar witch an environment of extremely heightened energy for magick impregnation.

Needless to say, in the daytime, the local area of the etheric plane becomes muddy and filled with human ideas, pains, wishes, regrets, sadness, excitement, etc.

We sorcerers love the night because it provides us the clearest channel for our magick—among many other reasons too such as identification with lunar deities.
