The importance of flame observations
If you are burning a seven-day jar candle yourself, you won’t be sitting next to the candle for seven days straight, 24 hours per day. Therefore, it is reasonable to think that you will not observe every event which occurs during the time of the flame being alive! I also do not sit next to my seven-day candles all day every day, and I don’t do this for my clients as well. So what I’m saying is, don’t stress if you miss some of the signs.
The observation you will not miss is the time the candle takes to burn finish burning. This has some significance and I will share some thoughts on a fast burn below.
Timing
Most 7-Day Glass Jar candles will take around 4 to 7 days to burn.
Mundane factors affecting the burn time include:
- Air Conditioning
- Heat or Cold in a natural environment
- A draft
- The method the candle was made will affect how it will burn (if you have ever brought Walmart or drug store $1 glass candles you will know what I mean! The wax is terrible and the candle will die half way, or leave alot of wax at the base due to the narrow jar and lack of air towards the end of the burn.)
A 7-Day Candle Burns FAST
- On a Reverse Candle, means Negativity Around you.
- On a Candle to Harm, means the person has Strong Spirits Helping Them, but that your Spell will still be Effective.
- This is a Good Sign, if burning Candle of Prosperity. This means Money is on its Way to You.
- If on Health Candle means that the illness the person has is Stronger Than Your Spell, and that is a matter of time till the Illness Takes over. Other Spells are Quickly needed to help Remove the Illness.
The Wick
- If the wick of the candle starts building a little bulb at its tip, chances are that you have opposition or a third party working against you.
Candle Noises
A noisy candle indicates communication with (or interference by) outside forces. Hisses, sputters, and whistles are sometimes said to carry messages from your guides, ancestors and spirits—so try listening to them and hearing what they say.
- NOISES indicate conversation.
- Either the spirits are trying to talk to you or the target is talking about you.
BWC TIPS:
Look to the purpose of the candle and the other actions of the flame to determine which is which.
If for a negative spell it means that, someone is planning against you and talking about it.
If for a positive spell, it means that the person is thinking of you.
- Idea – Each day add a drop of honey, a pinch of sugar then stir in a clockwise direction, to sweeten the target.
Dramatic Candle Messages
The Candle Flames Goes Out
The work is finished.
- A stronger opposing force has put an end to it.
- Usually, this means that your petition or spell—whatever it may be—will not manifest.
- On a positive note – in some cases, it can mean that the objective of the working has already been attained.
- TIP – You should open the circle, ground yourself, and leave it be.
The Candle Explodes
The absolute worst sign, especially if you are working with a glass candle and you are sitting near the exploding candle!
- Someone could be attacking you – the candle just protected you from a spiritual attack or a large amount of negative energy was sent your way.
- The person you are attacking is protected from harm.
- TIP: Be warned and check the spell is not reversed back to you.
