Some people ask if it is better, but in actual fact it makes no difference as you’re only looking at the surface of the mirror. In my opinion the other mirror looks better quality, however most magical tools are packed away or only for the viewing of the practitioner and so if the quality matters in terms of size that is a personal matter but will not diminish your ability to use the Mirror.

Among the most popular and beloved of magical tools, the magic mirror is common to many traditions, being especially beloved in ancient Egyptian, Chinese, Western ceremonial, Aztec, and Italian folk magic. It is most commonly used for:

Although the mirror is a reflective tool, magically it’s also believed to possess powers of absorption. Like a crystal, mirrors absorb and store information. • The original ritual sourced from the Grimoire of Arthur Gauntlet provides a prayer immediately after the preliminary that follows the tradition of coercion. I am not one for coercion and so have chosen to provide the next prayer which does not use any threatening language but bids the spirit to come.

Therefore, one could invoke by the name of Lucifer, the Sacrament of the Black Flame (being the inner spark of Divinity which grants the magus the ability to do magic and also to gain attainment amongst the said LHP) and the like. One may also include simply the name IAO, which is often considered as a notarikon as I am the Alpha and the Omega. From understanding, one may consider this as an all encompassing force, everything from the Active, to the Inactive, Alpha et Omega.
