It takes us back to our primeval selves and makes us thing about the cycles of birth and rebirth happening in this world.

One of the most common knot designs is the Celtic Trinity Knot, or the Triquetra, which you are surely familiar with. Its name comes from Latin and it depicts the three corners of the sign. The pagan school of thought interprets the three corners as the three feminine powers: Mother, Crone and Maiden and impartial people think of them as simply mind, body and spirit.

While the origins are up to interpretation, the dateline undeniably places the Celtic symbolism into the time when only paganism existed.
