How This Works at Black Witch Coven

Every sweetening jar spell is created using traditional Hoodoo practices. Your jar is filled with a carefully chosen blend of herbs, minerals, curios, and petition papers, customized to your request. Once sealed and activated, your jar is placed on one of our LOVE altars and worked over time with candle magic, prayer, and incantations to draw results in your favor.

You will receive a photo of your jar once we begin your spellwork, which can take between 3–7 days after your order to allow for spiritual preparation.

Updates & Jar Timeline Policy

As of 2025, we’ve simplified our altar process to better serve you.

You’ll receive one photo when your jar is first created and placed on the altar. We no longer send a final photo after the jar is removed. Why? Because the real magic happens during the time the jar is on the altar—not at the end. There is nothing to report upon, as we don’t interpret the contents of the jar. If you would like an update on your specific situation, then some type of reading would be the best way to discover what is really going on at this point in time.

We used to offer ongoing altar space for an additional $40/month, but we now include up to 3–6 months of altar time free of charge as a complimentary part of your service.

Your jar will be tended with candles and prayers during this period and then respectfully removed without notice when the altar is cleared.

This approach allows us to keep this service affordable, focused, and potent, without having to increase our prices or overextend our altar time.

If you would like your spellwork to continue beyond the original 3 to 6 months, we recommend re-purchasing the same type of jar spell. This allows us to create a fresh, energetically clean container, and renew your intention with updated spiritual work. A new jar gives your spell a powerful second wind and ensures the work stays active and aligned with your goals over the next cycle on our altar.
