Honoring the Demons of August
This month, we honor the daemonic forces that govern the energies of transformation, abundance, and wisdom. As we work with the full power of the Sturgeon Moon, we will call upon the specific entities whose influence is strongest during this time. Their energy will guide and empower your petition, helping to manifest your desires through their specialized domains.

Asmodeus (August 28th – September 1st): Known for his dominion over desire, passion, and confidence, Asmodeus will help you reclaim your personal desires, banish self-doubt, and embrace empowerment and lust for life. His energy will fuel your ambitions and help you manifest deep, personal satisfaction.
Bune (July 28th – August 1st): Bune brings the strength of prosperity, wealth, and financial success. He is known for his power to transform and solidify material wealth. Invoking Bune during this time will provide financial breakthroughs and remove obstacles standing in the way of your abundance.

QUESTION: HOW DO THE FULL MOON EVENTS WORK?

While the event is closed to public eyes, we do offer time during the ritual for submitting clients’ petitions to the God or Goddess.

As we have been offering this event for so many years, we forget that we have not explained how our full moon event works! So it makes sense that many people ask if this is recorded or shared on Facebook or in a public forum. And maybe in the future, this could be possible but there are reasons why we do not share this event as a public event.

The event is closed (not recorded) because:

Much of the ritual is from our own book of shadows and that is private (and that is common in most older covens).
Many of our members do not want their faces shown in public (and everyone has their own personal reason for this, including not feeling the need to dress up for a camera, not wanting to be identified or “followed”).
When people are recorded they tend not to act “naturally.” They tend to be worried about many other factors versus being in the moment, so we do not have the recording of any rituals or spells at BWC.
The privacy of our clients is also super important. People write very private information on their requests, and it would be terrible to read out everybody’s name and information and then what they’re looking to achieve in front of a camera. We would hate to have to change the way we perform a ritual.
The sharing of our own personal vulnerabilities would also be limited if we were sharing to a live stream. It’s very important to have a safe space with trusted people where you can release something quite private, where you will not be judged on what you say or how you say it. People would not share or become vulnerable if they knew other people were watching.
The sharing of magic in public breaks the #1 law in occultism – SILENCE. This in itself is a complex subject matter but it does come down to weakening the energy when it is shared with those who do not understand or respect magick. Of course, not all of our clients if any fall into this category, but unfortunately, a small percentage do.

We really are not trying to sound mysterious but trying and keep the integrity of what we’re trying to achieve as a small group. By offering a small number of clients requests into our full moon events, we enjoy hearing and sharing our clients needs to the Gods & Goddesses (Versus just listening to our own requests), and we believe this brings an extra level of energy to us, as we are raising the energy for our clients as well as for us.
