Semyaza was one of the leaders of the Watchers who came to cohabit with women. The name “Semyaza” can be translated into “the name of Azza or Uzza” which in turn means “strength”. Other spellings include; Shemyaza, Shamhazai, Semiaza Semjaza, Mezyarak, Shamazyna and other variants.
History:
According to the Book of Enoch, Samyaza was the leader of the Watchers that became fallen angels because they were consumed with lust for mortal women.
And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: “I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.” And they all answered him and said: “Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.” Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. (Enoch 6:3-5)
This Watcher is associated with Azael or Azazel. According to the Zohar, he had an affair with one of the daughters of Eve and two sons named Hiwa and Hiya were born. Each of these sons eat 1000 camels, horses and oxen daily. In the Book of Enoch, Semyaza was warned by Archangel Micheal about the sins committed by the Watchers.
Abilities:
Shemyaza is the Watcher who taught humans root cuttings, sorceries and enchantment. He is referred to as the Luciferian Witch Father and Initiator. He is a very powerful spirit with the power and knowledge of the Explicit Name of Creation. Due to his knowledge, he was able to ascend into the spirit world at will.
He was enamored with a maiden named Istar. He taught her the hidden name of God or the Mindless Force of Power which is declared by the Jewish Encyclopedia as Shem ha Meforash (Shemhamforash). He taught her the use of words which enabled her to ascend as a goddess into the heavens.
The abilities taught by the Watchers are symbolic. They were embedded within humanity during our evolution. This magical formula also serves as a symbol of self-transformation and mastery.
Appearance:
In the Luciferian Tarot, Shemyaza is found on the Knights OF Pentacles. He is symbolized as a man wearing a green robe, which represents his knowledge of the earth. He has a burning eye and is usually seen holding a knife (Athame) on his belt and holding roots with a pentacle shield.
Samyaza in Popular culture:
This Watcher was represented in a role as Esper Shemhazai in the video game Final Fantasy XII. Shemhazai is also a female horse like being created in opposition to Igeyorhm the Martyr. In Dominions 3: The Awakening and Dominions 4: The thrones, Samyaza and other five Watchers may be summoned from imprisonment to fight for the player.
In El Shaddai: The Ascension of the Metatron, the character Samyaza also appears as one of the seven fallen angels. In Soul Hackers, this character works with Azazel who is another fallen angel commonly used in games in the series.
In the Dragon in Our Midst book series, Samyaza appears as a prime antagonist. He appears as the imprisoned being in Hell in Wayne Barlowe’s novel titled God’s Demon. This name also appears in Jacqueline Carey’s Kushiel’s Legacy Series.

INVOCATION OF SHEMYAZA
Hail thou, Divinity shadowed
Wise unto the ways of the Spirit and Earth
Hail thou Abyssic Angel
Who raised up the sword and scythe
Wielding it against the Angels of Ignorance
Shemyaza I conjure thee
Angel of Wisdom
I seek the wisdom of sorcery
That by knowing ourselves shall we hold
Our divine potential
I invoke thee, Shemyaza
Ascend through me
That we may share the knowledge of this world Into the next
That I shall listen to the words of self-deification
As the fallen star I rise up to the heights
With the word of a self-created God
Shall I name and Ascend
Like Ishtar before, yet upon earth is my throne
SHEM-HA-MFOR-ASHE
Divinity encircled, within my flesh!
Sacred word of Shemyaza do I invoke!
The demon’s enns should be chanted too. You can give offerings before and after the consultation. At the end of the summoning, dismiss the spirit respectfully before the candles are snuffed out.
