13 LUCIFERIAN LAWS EVERY BEGINNER MUST KNOW

prayers to lucifer

If you are new to the Luciferian path, it is easy to get lost in aesthetics, rebellion for its own sake, or scattered online advice that never quite becomes a coherent practice. Luciferianism is not simply “being against” something. It is a deliberate, self-directed way of living that demands clarity, responsibility, and the steady refinement of your own power.

The thirteen laws that follow are not commandments handed down from on high. They are working principles that many serious practitioners return to again and again. They address the core challenges every beginner faces: how to think, how to act, how to relate to knowledge, desire, adversity, and the self. When understood and applied, they give structure without stripping away the freedom that sits at the heart of this current.

These laws will not make the path easy. They will make it honest. They will help you recognise when you are moving with genuine sovereignty and when you are still operating from habit, fear, or borrowed belief. Read them slowly. Test them against your own experience. Keep what proves useful and discard what does not.

What follows is a practical foundation for anyone ready to stop performing Luciferianism and start living it.

13 Luciferian Laws

1. All power comes from within. Bow to no other in spirit or flesh.

2. The Luciferian must view his or her mind as the center of Will, which every decision made, is essential to initiation and how the world will be affected by them.

3. The cunning mind must calculate every situation; often mere strength is not enough to master a challenge. Thinking is a direct result of the Luciferian Mind, it must be in accordance to Will with a focus of Power. The Will as a result of the Luciferian is a balanced perceived aspect of both instinct and higher thought, with a goal-oriented outcome.

4. For every outcome in each situation, the Luciferian must calculate how their thoughts, words and actions will lead them to that outcome. For instance, what you say will affect others in what they hear. It may also affect what they do and say as well as the speed of what they do. Think about how others perceive you and act accordingly.

5. The primary symbol of the Luciferian has always been the serpent; this has long been understood by the wise as representing Wisdom. As the serpent can represent darkness it is this which surrounds our planet – literally the Ourabouris serpent circling the world.

Ancient Darkness is what the world was made and from which we emerge, yet as a culture we fear it. It is the fire of Lucifer and Lilith which brings us up from the cloak of darkness, yet we are empowered by it. You may shape the world from darkness as well, this is the night and the desires which you need light to manifest.

6. Always understand that intentions should not be made known at all times. The cunning of the Luciferian must be sharp, as the tongue of a serpent. Think about your surroundings, what you want to achieve and what you should let known.

If you seek a promotion in an office where many seek to move up, this puts you at a disadvantage as people are celebrated by what is believed about them first; i.e. how they are seen. Secondly, they are celebrated by results of their actions. Social circles are climbed successfully by those who may court the attention of those around them; they play into what the person wants to see. Do this, with cunning; results will be productive to your ends.

7. People do not act just and good wholeheartedly. To believe such is to be naïve. People appear to act “good” based on their environment. Look to any area or power or authority, observe deeply and you will find corruption. Those who are noble in action and thought may be your friends yet be careful in dealings – all betray if they feel too much pressure. As self-preservation is important to all, when this is tested friends become bitter enemies.

Know the nature of your friends and their possibility to betray – be prepared, cautious yet don’t let this hurt your relations. You may focus on your friends openly and love those who are worthy. Don’t be paranoid; just be able to defend yourself.

8. Understanding Light and the nature of creation is essential upon the Luciferian path. Know that beauty is based on the subjective view of another; if you create something, love it and rejoice in this ability. This is the path to Self-Godhood.

9. The Luciferian should nurture his or her ego, yet be able to learn and develop continually. A Luciferian can be wrong and should be willing to always seek wisdom from experience.

10. Magick and Sorcery are tools of expanding influence, knowledge and power. Rejoice in the hidden art, become and ascend through it. If you achieve something with Magick, give yourself thanks, for all power comes from within.

11. Be cautious in forgiving enemies, they will often stab you deeper if you let them too close without a sharp memory. Keeping enemies close with their natures’ in mind will give you the advantage.

12. Being kind to others should not be from the desire to have another good deed done. If you are going to be kind, do it without regard for a return.

13. If you make an enemy, follow the medieval and premedieval enemy law – be ruthless, be like a serpent in knowing their moves and be like a lion in their presence. You will be the victor if you can calculate power with strategy and when to apply force.

The Luciferian Points of power are the basic guidelines an individual must consider if he/she is interested in Luciferianism. These points are like the cornerstones of the Luciferian philosophy as presented by the Greater Church of Lucifer.

Below are the 11 Luciferian Points of Power:

1. Lucifer represents the light of intellect, wisdom and power unique to each individual with the courage to ascend to this responsibility.

2. The symbol of the Adversary is that of the self-liberator and spiritual rebel who inspires self-evolution.

3. Lucifer represents the balanced torch bearer of Venus: the Light Bringer as the Morning Star and the Night Bringer as the Evening Star.

4. The Adversary symbolizes the spark of consciousness which questions everything, manifesting the individualistic path with accountability only to one’s self.

5. The fall of Lucifer or Satan symbolizes the liberation of the mind from the slave-mentality and the courage to explore and master the darkness within. One may not offer the illumination of the Morning Star without the wisdom of the darkness within.

6. The Adversary represents rebellion with purpose: wisdom, strength and power.

7. Lucifer represents the courage and fortitude to acquire healthy self-love, leading to the responsibility of honoring your temple of mind, body and spirit.

8. To become your own god you must have the wisdom and strength to govern and guide your life as if your mind is to survive beyond the mortal body.

9. Indulgence with restraint, love for the deserving and disdain for those undeserving.

10. Lucifer represents the insight that every act, no matter if perceived as selfless, is at core a selfish act. Even if helping others is your passion, the brain still receives a chemical reward triggered by the act. This is why many consider that doing good deeds in society may bring you closer to “god”. Recognize you are selfish, then see this fact in all others while observing. Accept this and then with this knowledge, make choices that would benefit not only yourself but your loved ones’ when possible.

11. To become a god is to fully understand that you possess the power to create and sustain your path in life and illuminate the light of self-determined potential.

The thirteen points of power and the thirteen laws are not meant to be memorised and then forgotten. They are working tools. Return to them when you feel scattered, when your practice starts to drift into performance, or when you need to measure whether your actions still serve your own becoming. Used honestly, they cut through confusion and keep the focus where it belongs: on the deliberate shaping of a life that is yours by right of effort and will.

Luciferianism rewards those who test everything against lived experience. Take what strengthens you, discard what does not, and keep refining. The path is not about collecting ideas. It is about becoming the kind of person who no longer needs external permission to stand in their own power. That work begins the moment you stop reading and start applying.

This is all great, but how can I apply it in my life?

Knowing the thirteen points of power and the thirteen laws is only the beginning. The real work starts when you move them out of theory and into daily decisions. Below are practical techniques that help turn these principles into lived habit rather than abstract ideas.

1. Daily Self-Audit At the end of each day, spend five to ten minutes reviewing your actions against one or two of the laws. Ask yourself: Where did I act from genuine self-direction, and where did I default to habit, fear, or external approval? Write a single sentence noting what you will adjust tomorrow. This simple review builds the muscle of honest self-observation without becoming self-punishing.

2. Decision Filter Before any significant choice, run it through a short mental checklist drawn from the laws. Does this action increase my personal power or dilute it? Am I taking full responsibility for the outcome? Is this rooted in clear desire or in reaction? Using even three consistent questions creates a reliable filter that slowly replaces impulsive or people-pleasing decisions.

3. Controlled Indulgence Practice Many Luciferian principles speak to desire and the rejection of unnecessary restriction. Choose one area of life (food, rest, creative work, sexual expression, or material goals) and deliberately practice conscious indulgence for a set period. The key is awareness: notice the difference between chosen pleasure and compulsive consumption. This trains discernment rather than either repression or mindless excess.

4. Knowledge Application Cycle When you study any magical, philosophical, or practical material, immediately identify one small way to test it within forty-eight hours. Luciferianism values knowledge that is used. Reading without application keeps the ideas safely theoretical. Small, rapid tests turn information into personal data.

5. Adversity Reframing When difficulty arises, pause and ask which law or point of power is being tested. Instead of treating the obstacle as pure misfortune, treat it as raw material. This does not mean forcing toxic positivity. It means refusing to remain passive. Write down one concrete action you can take in response, no matter how small. Over time this builds the habit of meeting resistance with agency.

6. Weekly Sovereignty Review Once a week, look at your calendar, commitments, and energy expenditure. Identify one obligation, relationship pattern, or habit that no longer serves your becoming. Decide whether to renegotiate, reduce, or remove it. Consistent small acts of boundary-setting compound into real autonomy.

7. Ritualised Intention Setting Before sleep or upon waking, state a single clear intention that aligns with one of the laws. Keep it specific and actionable. This is not wishful thinking. It is a deliberate focusing of will that keeps the principles active in the background of daily consciousness.

These techniques work best when kept simple and consistent. Choose two or three to begin with rather than attempting all of them at once. The goal is not perfection. The goal is steady evidence that you are living the path instead of merely admiring it. Over months, the laws stop being rules you consult and become the quiet structure through which you already move.
