Hi Savannah,
I’ve cast a curse over a year ago. It seems like it has been doing it’s work throughout that time
I have been repeating the curse with conviction almost daily just to make sure
My question is, do I need to repeat a curse regularly to keep it strong even if in the curse I state it is for in perpetuity unless I revoke it? It does seem to be working, and I just like to keep that rolling. Thank you for considering my question!
Sincerely,
Stanley
Answer:
It depends on the type of curse and the strength of the original ritual.
- One Strong Curse: If the initial curse was performed with strong intent, powerful materials, and proper ritual execution, it may be enough on its own. Some curses are designed to unfold over time, so patience is needed.
- Repetition for Reinforcement: If the desired effects are slow or weak, repeating the curse can strengthen it. Some practitioners reinforce a curse on significant lunar phases (e.g., Full or Dark Moon) or specific planetary alignments.
- Signs of Effectiveness: Before repeating, observe if the target is experiencing misfortune, bad luck, illness, or emotional turmoil. If the curse is working, repeating it may not be necessary.
- Protection & Backlash: Always ensure protection for yourself, as repeated cursing increases the risk of energy rebounding if not properly shielded.
- Who did you call for help? – Goetia Demon – Andras, but also Astraoth. You’ll find in any system of deity there are those that can help you and even. See cursing demons
About Curses & Hexes
A curse and a hex are both forms of negative magic used to cause harm, misfortune, or suffering, but they differ in intensity, duration, and purpose.
What is a Curse?
A curse is a long-term, often powerful spell designed to bring continuous misfortune or suffering to a person, family, place, or object. It can last for years, generations, or even lifetimes if not broken.
Key Features of a Curse:
- Long-lasting or permanent (can span lifetimes or bloodlines).
- Often tied to karma, ancestral energy, or divine forces (e.g., gods, spirits, demons).
- Requires strong emotional energy (anger, revenge, hatred).
- Can be placed on a person, object, family, or location (e.g., haunted houses).
- Difficult to remove without serious counter-magic or divine intervention.
Examples of Curses:
- The Kennedy Curse: Misfortune and tragedy that follow an entire bloodline.
- The Pharaoh’s Curse: Death and bad luck upon those who disturb an ancient tomb.
- Generational Curses: Passed down through families due to past wrongdoings or witchcraft.
What is a Hex?
A hex is a temporary or short-term spell that brings harm, bad luck, or misfortune to a specific target. It is usually weaker than a curse and often serves as immediate punishment or warning.
Key Features of a Hex:
- Short-term or medium-term (may last days, weeks, or months).
- Often cast for revenge, annoyance, or discipline rather than destruction.
- Requires less energy than a curse.
- Can be easily removed or reversed by cleansing or counter-spells.
- Typically does not involve spirits or gods, just the will of the practitioner.
Examples of Hexes:
- Bad luck hex: The target loses money, drops things, gets into small accidents.
- Illness hex: Causes the target to feel sick, fatigued, or drained.
- Nightmare hex: Gives the target disturbing dreams.

Which One Should You Use?
- If you want total destruction or long-term suffering → Use a curse.
- If you want temporary misfortune or to teach a lesson → Use a hex.
Final Notes on Curses & Hexes:
- For stronger results, perform these during the Waning Moon or on a Saturday (Saturn’s day of destruction).
- Protection is key—before and after casting, perform cleansing rituals to avoid blowback.
- The longer the ritual, the stronger the curse.
- If you don’t see immediate results, don’t repeat the curse right away—let it unfold naturally.
