No time to go down to your local occult shop or botanica? Can’t wait for your luck to arrive from a mail order spiritual supply house?

1. Thyme: This humble green herb is a powerhouse money-attractor. Use it in cooking to draw money to the home; make a weak tea with it and add some to the rinse cycle when you launder your business clothes.

2. Basil: A multi-talented magical herb, this one protects the home, brings love and peace to the family, and draws money to the kitchen; Sprinkle some on the floor and sweep it out the back door, for “No evil can come where Basil has been.”

3. Ginger: Hot, sweet, and spicy, this root can be used fresh, in whole dried form, or as a powder to protect from evil spirits and to attract money; add it to any money spells you have to make them work faster.

4. Cloves: An herb that binds friends together, this one also brings in the winnings at games of chance, and it is particularly favoured in this regard by lady lottery players.

5. Allspice: Count out 7 whole Allspice Berries and tie them in your shirt tail or carry them in your pocket; you will have luck for seven days. Throw them in running water and make a wish when the seventh day is done.

6. Nutmeg: The gambler’s spice supreme. Carry a whole Nutmeg in your pocket for luck, or grate some up and sprinkle it in your shoes when you visit the casino!

7. Cinnamon: Known as the “Sweet Money Spice,” Cinnamon is the most lucky of the Money-Drawing herbs, roots, and spices. It paves the way for business luck and gambling winnings too! Mix it with sugar and sprinkle some on buttered toast — then sprinkle the rest of the mixture on your cash and shake the money all around your door.
