Frutimiere, Seventeenth Servitor of Duke Syrach

Frutimiere is the seventeenth servitor of Duke Syrach posited within the Secrets of Solomon and the Grimorium Verum. There is a great dearth of information regarding this demon in a manner similar to the other servitors of Duke Syrach. The demon is also referred to as Fruthmel although this title is difficult to come across within the context of practice. This demon is capable of preparing feasts of all manner for the conjuror upon their request. His office is to prepare banquets and food at the behest of the medium. The Plangiere edition of the Grimorium Verum states the following regarding him: “Frutimiere prepares all kinds of feasts for you.”

Despite the seemingly harmless nature of his office, it is presently not known whether Frutimiere is overtly benevolent, malevolent, or even indifferent towards human beings. This is consistent with the dearth in information regarding the true nature of Duke Syrach’s servitors. Even his placement within the lower end of the hierarchy should not be misconstrued for lack of potency. As a result, it is therefore necessary that the conjuration ritual is executed to perfection as this can minimize the likelihood of malevolence while improving the chances for a desirable outcome.

The ritual for calling forth Frutimiere is the same one used in the summoning most of the other servitor demons of Duke Syrach. It is a fairly tasking ritual which is outlined in the Grimorium Verum specifically for this purpose. The ritual asks the medium to avoid all forms of biblical sin nor have any sexual contact for a period of three days. After this, the last steps in the process of the invocation of Frutimiere can be done by the medium. Despite this seeming difficulty, this is the most basic ritual for invoking the eighteen inferior demons under the servitude of Duke Syrach. Other rituals such as the one used to make young women dance naked can also be used to call forth Frutimiere.

History

There is an obvious lack of available historical information regarding Frutimiere as consistent with the other inferior demons within this hierarchy. Like most of the others within the hierarchy, the first instance that this demon is mentioned within recorded history is in 1517 during the publication of the Grimorium Verum by Alibek the Egyptian. There are also no other credible reports of this demon within ancient Middle-Eastern mythology or early Graeco-Roman narratives. He was thus quite possibly an ancient pagan god who was demonized with the spread of Christianity during the Middle Ages.
