Diary of a Gypsy Witch – What a Moon

‘…it was the kind of moon

that I would want to

send back to my ancestors

and gift to my descendants

so they know that I too,

have been bruised…by beauty…”

― Sanober Khan, Turquoise Silence

Wooooooooooooh …. That was/is some full moon. Spring equinox in the north, autumn equinox in the south, the Hindu festival of Holi, Ostara… There’s so much energy flying around the planet right now, my Full Moon ritual was bursting with power and I’m literally still vibrating with it.

As well as celebrating how much of my new moon intention has manifested already, I released the barriers and obstacles that have been hindering me.  I collected moonwater, charged tools, oils, herbs resins and other ingredients I use for potions and anointing oils and yeah, there was some drumming and dancing too.

It was just… Yar!

About moon magic

The moon is the closest celestial body to us. It governs our tides, our gravity, it slows the spinning of the planet itself, so its influence is so strong, so close, you can touch it.

To me, it feels like a huge stream of rushing magical energy, so powerful I can reach out, stroke it with my fingertips and tap into the power and let it fill every cell of my body, every part of my etheric body, until I can channel that power where I want it to go.

Spiritually, the moon represents the feminine energy of cycles and rhythms – birth/death, nurture/nurturing, wisdom/learning, light/dark, receiving/releasing. It governs the oceans, the harvest, fertility, emotions, psychic powers, dreams, secrets, transformation, healing, magic, witches and witchcraft and that’s not even half of it.

Moon Goddesses are from every culture across all time; Bastet, Selene, Artemis, Chang’E, Athenesic, Hekate, Cerridwen, Isis, Ixchel and so many more. They represent all stages of our evolution; the Maiden of youth, the Mother of growth and the Crone of wisdom.

While this is primarily a female energy it’s not at all exclusive to women, rather it’s for harnessing those energies mentioned above and using their power to push forward, or hold back attributes, emotions or behaviours that you need to manifest your deepest desires.

It’s divine power, it’s my power and I’d love to share this with you.

At present, I offer Personal Lunar Ritual where 100% of my power and connection to the moon goddess will be focused on YOU and manifesting YOUR desires.

I also do a monthly New Moon Intention Setting Ritual for a small group of 13* where intentions are blessed and anchored so they may grow and thrive during the waxing cycle.

Coming up, I intend to also offer a Full Moon Releasing Ritual for a group of 13 to clear obstacles and unwanted energies that are no longer welcome or hindering our progress – watch this space!

*13 is a magical number that also equates to the number of lunar cycles per year.

Goddess bless,

Blonde Gypsy
