In our newsletter, we spoke about how now is the time to get on board with the motivation provided during this moon phase, to lead you into the New Year, and to set you up for 2024.
HOW? There are a few things about this full moon that skyrocket the odds. Mars (the planet of action) and Saturn (the planet of ambition) are in the mix, pushing you to get things done. This is your motivational kick up the backside! Ditto with work projects. You’ll jump on them as soon as they come in, impressing yourself or others (if in a workplace).
At the same time, you’ll feel super understanding and open-minded right now (or if you’ve been going through a dark time, you’ll feel a little lighter than what you have been previously after releasing this energy to the full moon frequency).
This is also a great time to expand your social circle—you’ll find yourself making new, intense connections with people and feeling like you’ve known them for years. And if you’re not into other people, as many of us who are into witchcraft, are not into socializing outside of our own spaces, you might find yourself finding more peace and harmony and lightness with the craziness that others bring into your life!
Finally, you’ll find yourself making an extra effort to bring a positive and inspiring vibes to all of your interactions.
About The Dark Goddess Hecate
Hekate (also spelled ‘Hecate’) is the Greek Goddess associated with magic, witchcraft, necromancy, the underworld, and childbirth. She is the goddess of the three paths, goddess of the crossroads, both physical and spiritual. As a Triple Goddess, Hekate rules the realms of Earth, Sea, and Sky, the conjunction of past, present, and future, as well as the Moon, Earth, and Underworld.
Hecate is related to the dark moon, she rules vengeance and can be invoked to bring justice. However, this is a perfect time of year, right after Samhain, to work with this Goddess on this night. Therefore, I’ve decided to do this Ritual in her honour, and call to her, the goddess of the time of transition between birth and death, to carry a torch of illumination into the new year for us Pagans.
Hecate is a goddess who brings about transformation. Often depicted with a serpent or as the serpent itself. In Jungian psychology, the snake represents the shadow and the subconscious mind, which is a large part of Hecate’s dark goddess archetype. Snakes represent transitions.
On this full moon, the first full moon of our new Pagan year, Hecate is perfect!
- Serpent energy is also connected to sexuality, especially healing from sexual trauma. The Kundalini Awakening is represented by a serpent, which is a connection of the Divine Feminine sexuality and spirituality.
- She is here to show us the way of the goddess in a patriarchal society. She calls you to go within, examine yourself, and emerge reborn.
- She reminds us that death is not the end and something to be feared, but it is the beginning of the cycle of rebirth.
Hecate only accepts offerings and petitions after nightfall. Traditionally, offerings to Hecate were left for dogs to consume because of her association with dogs. My German Shepherd Blaze is always with me during rituals, and offerings will be given to Blaze after the closing of this Ritual.
She favors witches, psychics, midwives, herbal healers, and dog lovers.
Why should you clear your thoughts on a monthly basis?
The releasing and abundance ritual is about clearing your mind. Releasing the negative thoughts, and set the intention to bring you what you need in your life right now.
Your thoughts create vibrations throughout the universes, which makes setting intentions a powerful tool for achieving happiness and well-being. Intentions are like magnets. They attract what will make them come true. Setting an intention is a powerful tool for achieving happiness.
Having a clear purpose provides us with insight into our aspirations, dreams, and values. It also helps us live in the present moment instead of being caught in negative thought patterns. Those negative thoughts are what you need to write down and release this month.
Stuck on setting goals?
Crafting an intention starts by setting goals that align with your values, aspirations, and purpose.
- Decide what matters to you. Your values drive the actions in your life, and you’ll need to recognize what truly matters to you if you want to find fulfillment.
- Explore areas of your life that need an upgrade. Consider how you can improve your relationships, career, social life, spirituality, health, and community.
- Be specific about what you want to achieve, when you want to achieve it, and why.
- Bring your intentions to life. In this ritual, we will ask you to write them down. Make sure you write them in the present tense, as if they’re happening now, and affirm only what you want. You should also write down your goal, the end result of what you wish to manifest. Put feeling into it!
After you make your purchase, we will ask you to write one releasing item and one abundance item. If you have several items, keep them for next month and join us once again. If you have nothing specific to ask for, we have our own petition that we use for our long-term clients, so don’t feel pressured to come up with something.
Feedback Date:
- Allow me at least 7 weekdays after the ritual to send you my thoughts and updates.
Information required for this ritual:
-
- After payment, you will find the list of the required information.
- You will also find my email address, and that is where you’ll send the information.
- Do not send your info to the support email address.
A Common Question: Why do Sorcerers and witches Love The Night?
As every Left-Hand Path magician knows, the moonlight and nighttime foster an exceptionally great time and space to perform a ritual. While virtually everyone sleeps overnight, the etheric plane that envelopes earth becomes clear and peaceful, thus our evocations act like a lightning rod to spirits, and our spells cut right across the ether without interference. This provides a black magician and lunar witch an environment of extremely heightened energy for magick impregnation.
Needless to say, in the daytime, the local area of the etheric plane becomes muddy and filled with human ideas, pains, wishes, regrets, sadness, excitement, etc.
We sorcerers love the night because it provides us the clearest channel for our magick—among many other reasons too such as identification with lunar deities.
