WORKING WITH THIS DEMON

  • This demon can be summoned to reveal the identities of other witches and wizards. He can also be used to defend against their attacks.
  • The demon has knowledge of all secrets and can be summoned to give secret counsel to the conjuror.
  • This demon can also be summoned to foretell the future or reveal things past and present. This is due to the ability to accurately predict and tell of past occurrences.

SUMMONING OF VINE

This demon is like all the other Goetic Demons since he has no inclination towards love or malice on the part of human beings. It is also necessary to acknowledge the demon’s independent will which may not necessarily align with the conjuror’s expectations. The requirements for this evocation are the scrying mirror, high quality incense, and an undisturbed place.

  • The conjuror should prepare oneself emotionally and psychology by ridding their minds of all thoughts in order to connect with the Higher Power.
  • Since much is presently unknown regarding this demon, it is conceivable that the safest avenue for his evocation would take the same route as the foregoing demon, i.e. through praying to Satan / Lucifer in the following prayer:

“Lord Satan, by your grace, grant me, I pray thee the power to conceive in my mind and to execute that which I desire to do, the end which I would attain by thy help, O Mighty Satan, the one True God who livest and reignest forever and ever. I entreat thee to inspire (Vain) to manifest before me that he/she may give me true and faithful answer, so that I may accomplish my desired end, provided that it is proper to his/her office. This I respectfully and humbly ask in Your Name, Lord Satan, may you deem me worthy, Father.”

  • Vain manifests within the scrying mirror or within the smoke of the incense. The demon should be dismissed respectfully upon completion of the ritual.

WARNINGS

Like the rest of the Goetic Demons, this one has an indifferent predisposition to human beings – neither malice nor love. It is therefore very important to keep one’s end of the bargain whilst taking great care throughout all dealings with this demon.

Throughout the dealings with Goetic Demons, it is necessary to emphasize respect as this is the surest way of ensuring hostile sentiment does not arise.
