Working With Zepar
In modern occult practices, Zepar is often called upon for rituals involving:
- Love Spells: Especially those focused on immediate attraction or lust.
- Passion and Desire: Amplifying sensuality within existing relationships.
- Dominance and Confidence: Channeling assertiveness in romantic pursuits.
However, due to his association with sterility and the potential for unintended consequences, practitioners often approach Zepar with caution and respect.
Zepar is not an easy demon to work with for the inexperienced. He has been known to cause some issues for the occultist. I do not recommend Zepar for new comers to the WWD Course.
Zepar is another one of these very specific demons. Zepar is humble, cloaked in red and wearing soldier’s armor. He’s not just a fighter though, he’s also a lover, as his main thing is making women fall in love with men.
That’s not a totally unusual talent amongst the 72 demons of the Goetia, but Zepar takes things a step further. Not only will he make a woman fall in love with a man, but can transform them into other shapes till they have been enjoyed by their lovers.he also makes them barren,
On the negative side, he can also make a woman barren. Plus cause long term issues for men who may wish to have committed relationships in the future.
I have worked with Zepar to create a lust relationship. A client desired a woman at his gym, and wanted her to desire him. Zepar was summoned to create this “affair”. It worked for a short time.

Prayer to Zepar for Attraction and Passion
Prayers to Zepar, like other rituals involving demons, require deep respect and an understanding of the energies you’re working with. As Zepar is often invoked for love, lust, or passionate relationships, a prayer would typically center on attraction, confidence, and overcoming obstacles in relationships.
Guidance for the Prayer:
- Timing: Perform the prayer during an appropriate time for love or lust magic—during a waxing moon, a Friday (associated with Venus and love), or under the sign of Libra.
- Offerings: You may also offer something symbolic, like a red or pink candle, rose petals, or something associated with love and passion to honor Zepar during the ritual.
Here is a general structure for a prayer to Zepar:
Invocation:
“Zepar, Duke of Passion and Desire, I call upon your presence. You who bring fire to the heart and the spark of love to those who seek it, I ask that you come to me now. Fill my spirit with the energy of seduction and passion. Guide me in matters of the heart and help me attract the love I desire.”
Main Prayer:
“Zepar, master of love’s deep currents, let your energy flow through me. Help me to become a magnet for affection, warmth, and attraction. I seek the confidence to express my desires and the allure to captivate the one I desire. May my heart be open, my actions clear, and my presence irresistible. If it is for the highest good of all involved, bring passion and connection into my life.”
“I ask for your guidance in the matters of the heart, and for the courage to navigate the complexities of love with grace. Let my intentions be pure, my spirit be confident, and my desires be met with mutual respect and understanding.”
Closing:
“Zepar, I thank you for your presence and for any gifts or insights you may offer. I trust in your power to help me find the love I seek. May it be swift, and may it be true. So be it.”
The Demon of Seduction lounged in the cushioned chair near the fire and swirled a glass of aged scotch. He stared contemplatively into the flames as the first sip burned a fiery path down his throat. His world was changing, yet again. Both Demon and Fae drew power from human emotion. But Demons had discovered a mighty weapon against the Fae. The Fae might believe they were winning, but they were wrong. The Demons had a new secret defense.
Love.
The emotion of love transformed their energy and made them stronger. So now, every Demon was tasked with finding the love of a human. Even he, the Demon of Seduction, must find a mate.Zepar smiled. He was the Demon of Seduction. How hard could it be to make a human fall in love with him?

He is primarily summoned by male followers to make women fall in love with them. The cost of this love is that the woman who falls in love in this way will not be able to conceive the man’s children.
It is said that he is capable of seducing women by taking the human form of their husbands and lovers – therefore he is able to shape shift
Zepar’s rank is Grand Duke. He is said to govern twenty-six legions of “inferior spirits.” His office is to cause women to love men, and bring them together in love. He makes women barren. He is depicted with red clothes and armor, like a soldier.
Not much is known about the Duke Zepar. He is primarily summoned by male followers to make women fall in love with them. The cost of this love is that the woman who falls in love in this way will not be able to conceive the man’s children. To some this may not seem like a very big deal, but centuries ago men considered having children to carry on a their family name to be of great importance – especially to men in powerful positions or with long family legacies. He can also cause people to shapeshift into other forms, usually at the request of the summoner, but not necessarily in a form that is requested. Zepar always appears in red knight’s armor [2].
Zepar is the sixteenth spirit of Solomon and also one of the fallen angels. He is also said to make women attractive to men. His long neck and head, covered in bright red armor, is strangely mindful of a phallus, while the elongated slit, the only clear definition of an orifice in what should be the face, reminds us of a woman’s vulva [2] And if these suggestions are not enough, examine Zepar’s sigil. It is clearly the image of male testicles. This demon has sex written all over him. Johann Wier said of this spirit: “Zepar is a great duke, appearing as a soldier, inflaming women with the love of men, and when he is bidden he changeth their shape, until they may enjoy their beloved.” Male’s might think Zepar doesn’t sound like too bad a fellow, but they must understand just what this demon is all about. He has no love for humans [7], and this maybe true. Yet he does enjoy working with people if one does so respectfully.
Another witness of this ancient spirit, the game site Seagate Adventurers’ Guild Beastiary, describes him as a slight warrior with a clubfoot, dressed all in red armor. “He is of a dark mien and speaks in a grating voice filled with contempt for all who inhabit his plane.”
Zepar is a magician, skilled in the art of illusion. He is talented in alchemy, is a military scientist, spy, troubadour, merchant and an assassin. “He is able to cause women to fall in love with men and so allow themselves to be seduced. His touch, however, makes women barren.” Seagate also notes that Zepar “may carry a variety of weapons, but all will be smeared with foul venom which inflicts horrible scarring injuries that may only be cured by magic.” During the evocation, I sensed a strange relation to Gamori, the demon of perverted love, or prostitution [8].
As I researched Zepar’s history, I discovered Zepar’s apparent link to Zephyrus. Apparently Zephrus “ZEPHYROS (or Zephyrus) was the god of the west wind, one of the four directional Anemoi (Wind-Gods). He was also the god of spring, husband of Khloris (Greenery), and father of Karpos (Fruit).” And Zepar “Being a “Wind-God” Zepar has power over the element of air, which is in the soul.
